Lake Party Water Post Day Two
Sunshine Dust, the golden squid, frolics closer to shore today. There were so many people to play with in the lake yesterday! And squids need love and attention too!
There's a soft breeze coaxing the water into gentle waves, playing around the Black Pearl's sails.
If you didn't get a chance to swim yesterday, there is only today.
Tomorrow, it will be February again.

Fair is fair, right?

It was... just a sound of surprise, as Yrael isn't used to trying to find his balance in water and hadn't gotten his feet under him before Elizabeth pounced him.
So, there's a not'cat completely underwater and not going all nuclear fission for the first time within the last... ...um...
...ever.
He's somehow able to focus on something other than 'AUGH WATER GET IT AWAY" and so tickling Elizabeth, cruelly. Fair is fair.

She's never seen his reaction to water. Though a small portion of her brain is questioning his not running from it because she vaguely recalls him not liking it.
But then there's tickling, and her footing slips, and she's underwater. There's faint flailing because TICKLING! And then she gets her feet out, and there's an attempt to turn him around, using legs around his waist. Having to breath is a pain. Really.
no subject
Yrael doesn't have to breathe, but he also doesn't have Elizabeth's familiarity with the water. So... all might as well be fair. Tickling continues, though it's somewhat hampered by trying to keep from being turned around.
no subject
There's a bit more of a struggle to turn him around. And then she gives up on that and uses her legs to pull him down, giving her momentum to break the surface to take a breath.
no subject
He's grabbing her hands and pulling her down and using what purchase he can get with his feet to turn over.
no subject
And with her pulling her down again, she's just able to fill lungs with air before she's back under. She struggles to get her hands free. If she can do that, she can push off his shoulders. Which...might effectively push him back down.

It gets to be too much, after a while.

"When ever did you decide water was fun?"
no subject
"I didn't. I decided tackling you was fun enough that I could stand being in the water." He's also grinning, but only just, because AUGH there is mud squelching in between his TOES oh lord just kill him now.
no subject
"Ahh, so in order to tackle me, you can let go of the fact that there's wet?" She laughs and pushes off the bottom to float just far enough that there's no mud, because there's no bottom unless you sink a little. Will he follow?"
no subject
"Up to a point. When there is no more tackling, the wet is still there." Waiting.
Spiked not'cat! He's a J-pop star!
no subject
"Yes, you just have to get over the wet and see what fun there can be had in the wet." She gets a little closer, curling a little so while if she wanted her feet could touch bottom, but they don't. And then there's a foot poking his waist.
There should be a photo shoot and a concert if he's a J-pop star!

raving lunaticsloyal fans.Moo ha ha.
"Yes, but then there's that nagging fact that... it's wet." He grins and catches hold of her ankle.
no subject
"But...you have to look," She lowers her other foot to give herself footing and pulls her other leg back in. Her hope is to pull him deeper.
no subject
"Erk." The sudden lack of footing makes him go under.
no subject
Even if he doesn't need to breath. And even though the bottom isn't that far down. She wouldn't let him mock drown.
no subject
"Phooey," he says, and maybe it's only in regards to the lake water.
no subject
"Phooey?" She asks with a smile.
no subject
"Yes. The water is not to my taste," he says, grimacing.
Bleh, says the icon.
no subject
"But...it's clean, and clear, and warm." She splashes him to emphasize her point.
no subject
Then, one just needs to be able to run faster and for longer than they can.
"ACK," he says very calmly, shaking his head.
That's it, Elizabeth's getting dunked.
no subject
Though, there probably isn't anyone that can catch Yrael when he's got his feet under him.
Good thing he doesn't really have his feet under him.
There's an eek! at the dunk. And flailing. And then her attempting to go a little deeper. Maybe if it's deeper water, he won't follow.
