Suzi is still not outside. Whistler may come down later, and she meant what she said about preferring not to be out in huge crowds without him. So she's curled up on the end of the couch with a spread of snacks to lure people in for a conversation and a book for when nobody's biting.

He rubs at the corner of his eye, smiling a little.

"Mostly I am bad with details, perhaps."

"That's alright." She says quietly, "Everyone has their own strengths."

He beams, then.

"That is very true, I think. Also not a thing to forget."

He tries very hard not to, at least.

Usually it works.

"Uh huh." She tends not to. Being, as she is, a channel...it's hard to avoid remembering what other people can do.

"I am better at it, I think, than I was."

To some degree.

It is not so bad a change.

"I...think I met you once before." She says after a moment, frowning slightl, "So I don't know you well enough to judge."

Raven nods, nose wrinkling.

"Snap judgements are not always so good a thing. Though on occasion they are very entertaining."

Raven is not always picky, really. Or discriminating.

"I'm a channel. My biology is geared toward helping people break physical addictions which can kill them. Snap is not a judgment I make."

Raven frowns, looking a little confused.

Again.

"It is like drugs, then? Or TV dinners?"

Raven has seen commercials. Possibly this was a very bad idea of Coyote's.

"Yes." She says after a moment, "A little bit like that."

"It is a very useful thing, that."

He studies her carefully for a few moments, then smiles.

"I am not so good at such things, perhaps."

Perhaps.

"You don't have the biology for it." She agrees cheerfully, "You're missing all the bits needed."

Raven laughs, then.

"Especially the biology bits entire, I think."

It is not so bad a thing to agree, on occasion.

"That's what I said." She informs him, "I zlin you, I don't see you. You don't have the bits for that, either."

Raven considers this, unblinking.

"It is like string?"

Given that this is mostly how Raven sees things, to a point, the question is really in earnest.

No matter how strange it sounds.

"I have no idea." She says honestly. Raven confuses the hell out of her. (On the confusion scale, he's right below the Foxes.)

Possibly this says more about the Foxes than about Raven.

Yes.

"It is a thing to consider, possibly."

Beat.

"For me. It is not many people who see so."

"I'm confused enough just listening to you talk about it." Suzi admits, "So, um. I don't think I can think about it?"

Raven blinks.

"Oh. Possibly it is not a thing I had intended?"

This time.

"And possibly it was." Says Suzi Darley, "You're weird. Have a pilah."

Raven beams.

"Thank you."

And then he takes the pilah.

Possibly the thanks was for both the compliment and the food.

Possibly.

It is about the size (and shape) of a lemon, but looks rather like an orange. Suzi bites through the rind (tart!) and into the flesh (sweet!) with a happy sigh.

She likes pilah. "You're welcome."

Raven mimics her.

"This, I think, is very good."

Then he inhales it.

She was not wrong when she labeled Raven 'weird'.

Also ravenous, apparently.

It is a thing.

Yeah, she gets that. She waves a hand at all the foot...it's not like she's going to eat much of it and nobody else has come to talk.

Oh, Raven will inhale it.

Most of it.

He is not always quite that rude.

And he likes Suzi.
