So, every other time I've come here, it's been while in costume. It's been as Robin, teenage vigilante, prowling the streets by night, living a secret life by day. Nobody here (well, nobody who doesn't know from before I came here) knows about my real identity.
So when I walk into the bar in my civilian clothes, no mask, no cape, I'm a little worried. I don't panic, exactly; I'm able to keep my cool, shift my school bag on my shoulder, look like I belong. There's no way anyone here knows everyone that comes in and out of this place, so I should be able to fit in without a problem. The door is, when I glance casually behind me, gone, but I've been told it can happen. I try not to worry.
On the outside, I'm just Alvin Draper (like I'd use my real name), normal teenage guy, here on his way to school; on the inside, I'm Tim Drake, Robin, and I'm flipping out.
That's my life, never a dull moment.

It really is interesting, and I'd love to find out more, but Alvin will be Alvin, so...
"Yo man, if we go out back, can you show me how to take some names with that sweet sword?"

Will asks as he walks towards the back door and a clearing he uses for practice since he wishes he knew more about this young man, but it takes nothing for him to show what he knows. Though he won't let the stranger touch his sword unless he sees more proof of knowledge.

Of course, Will is talking about swords, and I'm talking about guns, but whatever.

Will says with a bite in his voice, he's a peasant and been looked down his entire life and it sounds like this strangers doing the same.
To clear his mind and move so he doesn't lose his temper, Will shows Alvin a place to stand as he works through his forms. They're an older style and Will's form is lovely since he's naturally quick and well balanced and has had far too much practice fighting in his life.

I (well, Alvin) see the sword in motion, and I'm quicker to apologize than I might have been a minute ago.

Will mutters as he finishes the forms and sheathes his sword turning to Alvin with an old look before saying,
"I'm one o'Robin's men and twas taught by Robin and 'ccordin' to the Sheriff, that makes me an outlaw and a traitor to the king. Ye still wish me to teach ye or goin' to find someone safer to be 'round?"
Then waits, his hand on the hilt of his sword, and anger just below the surface since Alvin might not have meant to give offense but he did a good job of it.

Alvin doesn't pick up on the mentions of 'Robin' and 'the Sheriff', but I do. I store away my suspicions for the moment, however, and concentrate on trying to play my part.

"Ye watched what I did, try an do the same,"
Then stands behind Alvin to watch how he moves and if anything seems off or dangerous, Will can be over there incredibly quickly.

"Whoa!" I cry out, as if shocked by how heavy it is. "This thing is heavy dude! No way I can do what you did!" But I try anyways, making a good show out of flailing a bit and being extremely un-majestic or graceful about trying to imitate him.

"Aye, naught easy 'bout a sword and now ye've seen,"
Then Will gestures for Alvin to return the blade, keeping a strong grip on Alvin's wrist so that he can control the swing of the blade if Alvin tries anything.
