Tom's head raises up from the table with a jerk. "Hmm?"
He blinks his eyes and peers about the- pub? Is he in a pub?
He recognizes no one- but then again, he doesn't quite recognize himself.
"Oh, I say..." he mutters. "I've no ruddy clue who I am."
Looking down he assesses his clothing, which seems to consist of black robes over a suit.
"I'm- I'm a barrister?" He finds his wand and takes it out of his pocket, staring at it. "And a conductor?"
...
"Good Lord."

She's a lovely girl, if a bit over-dressed. She must be on her to a fancy dress ball or somesuch.
no subject
"Yes, of course," she says. "You're Tom Riddle. Lord Ostium. Don't you know who you are?"

(The simple fact of the matter is that even when all else goes wrong, Englishmen generally respect two things. One is tea. The other is royalty.)
Amy squares her shoulders, gives him a look that is clearly (and regally) Not Amused, and says, "Mr. Riddle, do I look like the sort of person who would be having you on? And my name is Amy, not miss. Clearly, something has happened. Hardly the first time, in this place. But I assure you, your name is Tom Riddle. I've known you for some years now."

"Excuse me there? Would you happen to know who you are?"

Here's another in fancy dress. What a festival this village must be having!

"You are the seventh person I've run into who's having this problem today. Do you remember anything at all that might be prevalent? Or has anyone told you your name?"
no subject
He blinks.
"The seventh? Really?"
no subject
"Yep. Not sure what's causing it though. At all. Everyone I've met seems to have just woken up this way."

Judging by the look on her face, that's really too bad for Tom. She picks up Aria and heads straight for him.
"Tom Riddle! There you are! You know you can't hide from us forever!"
no subject
He is frozen like a deer in headlights.
"I'm called John. I think."
no subject
The hand that's not holding a baby is planted on her hip.
"John? That's what you're calling yourself now? It was Tom when you promised you'd always love me!"
no subject
By Jove... he's in trouble. And this, er, lady is dressed so shockingly.
"Only I seem to have lost my memory."
No, really.

The eyeroll that accompanies this statement is really rather impressive.
"God. You used to be a better liar than that, To- John. Look, I don't know what happened. Maybe you got tired of life as a whittler of batons for the London Symphony Orchestra, maybe your sideline at the, ah, gentleman's clubs got to be too much for you, but whatever it is, tell me."
Lilly looks straight at him.
"I'm your wife. I deserve the truth."

"Hey. You've got one of those, too! Is everyone here magic?"
no subject
Magic? There's no such thing as magic.

Somewhere in the bar, Harry Potter is going around trying to speak with an American accent. Because his brother threatened to whack him if he didn't.
