Will's been spending most of his days either swimming in the inlet or doing sword and archery practice, so hasn't been sitting in the Bar that often.

That's why he's making up for it now by sitting in a booth with a tankard of ale, and some wedges.

Lots of new faces and he's also keeping an eye out for Marian or Sir Guy, he'd feel better if he knew what happened between them.

"There will be, even if it is one you dislike, sir. There is no way to hasten the return of the legitimate king?" Look at Ryu, brazenly daring to poke at history...

"Nay, sir, all we can do is 'ope, but Robin says 'e'll return. Till then we'll do all we can to make sure Nottingham doesna fall."

When he speaks of Robin, there's utter faith in his voice for Robin is truly the hope of Nottingham.

Ryu nods at that; people need worthy leaders, and leaders need the faith and support of their people. "You are a fighter, for a cause, then."

"Aye, sir, I fight for Nottingham beside Robin o'Locksley, though 'e's been made outlaw, 'e's the 'ope we 'ave."

The sake arrives, and with two cups. Ryu fills them, and offers one to Will. "So, I drink to your success. Kampai!"

Not a toast Will knows, but its hard not to smile a bit when offered a drink, "Cheers, to Richard's return!"

The cup is raised, and emptied in a single large gulp. Good stuff, if you happen to like the first contact. "Wich kind of fighting you learned, sir?"

Sake is a strange taste to Will, but tasty in its own way,

"Doesna really 'ave a proper name, sir, can fight with a blade, staff, me fists, an fire a longbow, shortbow an crossbow."

"Very good then, very rounded up. Few things are worse than a fighter who can only fight in a single way, or with a single weapon." Cups are refilled. "I drink to your well-rounded-up skills, sir. Kampai!"

"Do ye fight too then, sir?"

Will's going slower with the sake, its fairly alcoholic and still a new taste for him.

"When I need to, yes. Armed and unarmed, as the situation demands, to protect my family and clan." And it is darn too often, against damn too strong foes. But he survives.

"Aye, sir, tis the best reason to fight, to keep those ye love safe."

"It is more a matter of duty, and responsability. I do have family members who I do not specially like, but it is my duty to protect them anyway As long as they support the clan, they are afforded certain rights."

"Aye, tis a shame to 'ear that, dinna 'ave much family but those I 'ave, 'old dear."

"That is a way to survive trying times, yes." Ryu nods sagely. "If you do not mind, sir, I would like to see your technique in combat someday."

"Aye, course, sir, be glad to show ye when tis light out."

"Very much good!" Ryu raises his cup in another toast; the two can now just banter and drink.
