Wes is rather pleased today. His hair is less obnoxious (tinted green, with reddish streaks), he's got a girlfriend, and ... that's it, but it's more than enough to be pleased about.

Okay, his door's still not there, but it's never a good idea to dwell on details.

"I can get over it if you can." She grins, glancing around before crooking her finger in a 'come here' motion.

"I think I can manage."

He mimics her glance around, then leans across the Bar with interest.

She tucks her hand into his shirt and leans up and kisses him soundly.

There's managing for you.

Wes braces himself on the Bar with one arm and lifts the other to touch her cheek.

He pulls back after a moment, though, and smiles ruefully. "'m on duty."

"I know." She smiles. "S'just incentive."

He grins lopsidedly at her. "Don't really need more incentive, trust me."

She tucks hair behind her ear and sips at her drink. S'good to know."

He nods and adds, "Not that it's not unwelcome. I mean, feel free to give me more incentive any time. If I'm not trying to make a drink, cause I prefer my pants without spills on them."

"S'hard to reach you from here if you're making a drink." Inyri points out with a grin, sipping at her drink again. "I mean...unless I jumped the Bar."

"Please don't do that," with a laugh. "I'm sure you can be patient and wait. Right?"

"I can be patient." She smirks, leaning forward slightly. "But you...you're going to be stuck here for a few hours. While I'm definitely going upstairs soon."

Wes tilts his head slightly. "By yourself, huh? While I'm stuck down here tending bar?"

"I'm very capable by myself." She says, smirking still, almost evilly. She stands up and hops to sit on the bar, reaching to push her fingers through his hair. "What happens if you take a break? I mean...bartenders have to use the bathroom or something, at some point right?"

That's a pretty interesting mental image. Wes tries not to let it distract him too much, but he does lean into her, just slightly.

"--yeah, I mean ... a 'fresher break?" He glances at her cynically. "That's, what, three minutes? Five?"

"What if you combined a couple of 'em?" She murmurs, low, tilting her head to the side and tilting his chin up with a finger. She bites down on her lower lip. "For like...ten, fifteen minutes?"

"...I could maybe do that," he decides; he leans up and presses his lips to hers for a moment. "I mean, Bar can take care of herself for fifteen minutes, right?"

She kisses him back quickly, before nodding, stroking his jaw. "Yes. Yes she can. What does she do when no one is bartending anyway?"

She leans down and kisses him again, deeply.

He closes his eyes and kisses her back, pushing down on the Bar as he leans up.

He's grinning ruefully when he pulls away, though. "She's prob'ly just pleased there are no bartenders to make out on her. Y'know, I think I'm due a 'fresher break soon anyway..."

She slides off the bar, her smile still more of a smirk than anything else. She leans on the Bar, wiggling slightly. "I think you are too. Right now."

"Well, if you put it like that..."

He glances round warily, then steps out quickly from behind the Bar. "Ten minutes," he murmurs to Inyri. "I mean, I shouldn't at all, but..."

"You could..hold on." She grins, coming around the Bar, squeezing his shoulder as she passes him.

On the specials board, she writes out carefully, Be back in 10 Minutes. "There," she murmurs, quickly rounding the Bar again. "Now people will know to wait. You had something...urgent to take care of."

Very urgent, from the way Inyri presses herself against him just so.

"Right," he agrees, glancing over at the board. He grins and takes her hand in his, then ducks his head to kiss her quickly.

"--c'mon," he murmurs, and tugs on her hand. "Better hurry."

She smiles, more of a coy smile than a smirk this time, keeping the distance between them minimal even as he tugs on her hand. "Lead the way, flyboy."
