One gloved hand rests on the window, as Axel looks out, gazing impassively at The End.

It's rather unusual for him to be doing it, but it's raining outside, and that's spoiled his plans for the evening. So instead of sulking by the fire, he's staring out into the violent, explosive vacuum.

He wonders if it's cold out there, or hot.

"Right." He stabs a piece of his fish.

Azula laps into silence as she eats, dousing it in more vinegar as she goes.

"Try not to do it again," he advises. "What if your brother had seen you like that? The little brat'd never let you live it down."

He and Zuko have conversed.

Axel was not impressed.

"You're right." She mutters, upset that he WAS right.

"I usually am," he replies matter-of-factly.

She glares at him.

BOOO.

He just raises an eyebrow at her.

She pushes her plate away after finishing the food off. "Thanks, again."

She sounds grumpy, and she might just be!

"You're welcome."

Grin.

"I think, after the excitement of today, that I should return to my world." She says, oddly formal and looking sullen.

"Do you want to do that?" Axel asks her.

"It's what I should do."

"And your point is?"

She just looks at him. "You're annoying," she says finally.

"Yeah, but I'm also really good," Axel replies. "I'm just saying - just because you think you should do something doesn't mean that you have to."

She sighs and shakes her head. "It's not necessarily that easy all the time."

"Sure it is. Around here, anyway."

"It's not." She mutters, crossing her arms.

"It is. Or doesn't time stop on the other end of your door?"

"It does, but that's not the point." Azula's almost to the point of whining. Almost.

"Then what is? Why not take advantage of the time you have here?"

"Because I have battles to win and things to think about." She says, looking slightly upset now.

"And you can't think about things here?"

"No." She states, and she doesn't offer why. There's something in her posture that says she wouldn't say at all.

[sorry, ran out for dinner]

"If you say so," he says, leaning back, elbows on the bartop.
