The trip home from King's Cross had been much quieter than the one there, and not just because Al and James weren't in the backseat anymore arguing or teasing each other. Lily noticed that Mum was crying a little to herself, and even Dad looked a bit misty-eyed.

Lily wasn't sure how she herself felt about both of her brothers being gone at school. On the one hand, it was going to be lonelier around the house without Al and James (okay, Al at least) to have to play with. But on the other hand, for the first time in her life Lily Potter was an only child. I get Mum and Dad all to myself! she thought cheerily as she headed to her room. Lily opened the door to her room-

-and quickly shut it again. Was that a...bar...on the other side of the door? She opened the door and looked through again. Yup, that's a bar in there.

If Lily were anyone else's child, she would have called down to her parents and told them about the sudden transformation of her room. But Lily's a Potter, and James and Al didn't get all of the sneakiness genes. So, in she goes.

The door shuts behind her.

Ginny look sat her "Hello?"

"Uh, hi," Lily answers. This lady looks familiar, but Lily can't place from where. In any case, Lily assumes she's part of this prank, whatever it is. "Do you know what my brothers did to my room?"

Ginny shakes her head "No, I don't know what your brothers did to your room, How could they have missed up your room" She runs a hand though her hair.

"All I know is that a few hours ago this" she gestures to the bar at-large "was my bedroom. And now it's not."

"Yeah, this is Milliway's bar. The place at the end of the universe. It shows up in random places"

Lily stares at the other girl. Her expression pretty much reads, 'pull the other one, it has bells on it'.

"Is James paying you to be part of this?"

Ginny looks at her that face it's familiar she's seen it before, Wait james?

"No, James isn't. But I met some one named James here once"

"James is my big brother," answers Lily.

Not that probably means anything. Lots of boys are named James.

Ginny look sat her and then almost goes weak kneed "What is your name?"

"Lily Potter. I was named after my grandma," she adds proudly.

Nine year-olds don't really know a lot about discretion.

Ginny then sits in the floor, Ok she's met James pretty sure she knows who Teddy is. But this is a shock "I think I met your brother James Potter"

Lily looks worried when the other girl sits down on the floor. "Are you okay?" she asks.

She's beginning to get the feeling that this isn't a joke.

Ginny look sat her and nods as she just stays on the floor" Yeah I'm good. My name is Ginny"

"Hey, that's my mum's name, too," Lily comments with a little giggle.

Come to think of it, this lady kinda looks like her mum. But that's just a coincidence...right?

Ginny smiles weakly at her and nods "Its a good name to have you know" She sighs and leans her head back a bit "I really should get up. And I will in a moment. Could use a butterbeer"

Lily just nods.

Ginny stands up "Would you like a butterbeer?" she asks and smiles now she was a pretty little girl.

"Sure!" Mum doesn't let her have it a lot, so it's kind of a special treat.

Then Lily remembers her manners. "Thank you."

Ginny smiles at her "Your welcome" She walks to the bar and orders two, Then leads them to a table sitting down handing one to Lily, "So What is your world like?"
