 Amanda is sitting next to the fire sewing a dress, it's slow going but she is determined to get it right. Her long brown hair tied back in a ponytail her clothes are mostly lost under the mounds of cloth she is working on.

The fire is warm, if you are nearby she might strike up a conversation, at lwast if you look amiable to such a thing.

"It depends on their social status, but most women wear some manner of dress. The wealthier they are, the more elaborate the dress."

Keely of course, scorned dresses and insisted upon leggings instead.

"It is much the same way where I am from." she looks down at the kimono, "I don't know what about a kimono shows one status but perhaps I will discover that later." she isn't done studying.

"It is a cultural thing. Homana is very distinct from Solinde. And both kingdoms are proud of their traditions to the point of cultural arrogance."

Which, incidentally, is something everyone at home indulges in.

"I see." He stops for a moment. "Do you like this culture? I would gather that it is not like your own."

She looks at the magazine, "It is new, different. I don't mind different."

"Truth is I don't know much about it, but what I do know I like."
