"...Okay."

"S...sure," he says, without much conviction.

*Andrew hooks a chair out from under the table and sits in it.*

Is this the same kind of "okay" I was last month?

Warren shakes his head.

"No, your situation was way-...wait...month?"

*Andrew hastily counts days.*

uh, three weeks ago?
...is that all? Feels like it was longer.

Warren boggles.

"It was in her that long? I thought we were talking a couple of days at the most."

Uh. No.

...It was in her for more than a week before Harvey slipped up and blew his cover.

Warren smiles gently.

"Andrew? Come back from the guilt safari. It's not your fault. How could you know?"

*He looks away.*

Yeah, I guess. The bug's a good actor. Never broke character. Had me fooled.

*bitterly* Not like that's hard.

Val wanders by and hands him a cup of hot cocoa. "Hey, Warren. I saw your note. I mightn't be a real therapist, but I do know how to listen." She smiles gently. "I'd be happy to help if I could."

He takes the cocoa, but stammers:

"Oh! Oh, no. That's...for a...friend of mine."

She's not buying it. Nope, not with any amount of money. "Well, what's up with your friend? What's bugging them?" She can play along at any rate.

"Uh...lots of things. He's...pretty messed up."

"Ok... well, what's his main problem? Something in his past, perhaps?" She prompts gently.

"There's not a couch in the lost and found, is there," he asks, miserably.

"No, but there's one in my tent." She smiles. "Or there's always the booth option. You wouldn't believe how much therapy happens in Milliways booths."

He raises an eyebrow.

"You have a tent?"

"Uhm, yeah. It's out back. I've been living in it for the past week or so. It's actually a wizard tent, cause it looks like a norma tent on the outside, but you go in and it's an apartment. There's a bathroom and kitchen and everything." Her eyes sparkle. "No, I'm seriously not making this up."

"There's an 'out back'?"

"No. Not big on...nature. Plus I don't want to try to leave and...accidentally end up in Hell, or something."
