Is this the same kind of "okay" I was last month?

Warren shakes his head.

"No, your situation was way-...wait...month?"

*Andrew hastily counts days.*

uh, three weeks ago?
...is that all? Feels like it was longer.

Warren boggles.

"It was in her that long? I thought we were talking a couple of days at the most."

Uh. No.

...It was in her for more than a week before Harvey slipped up and blew his cover.

"...And you were totally hinting all that time and I didn't get it because I'm a bigfatmeathead, right? Great."

Warren smiles gently.

"Andrew? Come back from the guilt safari. It's not your fault. How could you know?"

*He looks away.*

Yeah, I guess. The bug's a good actor. Never broke character. Had me fooled.

*bitterly* Not like that's hard.

Warren reaches across the table to pat Andrew on the head.

"Now, now. You're just blonde."

But Warren is not blonde, and a thought occurs.

"So...wait it was in her when you...two.."

*Andrew looks at the tabletop, and nods wordlessly.*

"Um. Um. Dude?" Warren asks, hoarsely.

*He looks up.*

"Y...u...are you...um?"

We've, uh ... we've been talking about it.

I mean, not about it. Kind of around it.

"Um. And. You...specifically."

Inside Warren's cringing.

*He's not following Warren's train of thought here. He's not sure he wants to.*

"Are. You. Okay? You, Andrew."

Uh. Still on the guilt safari, I think.

"O...kay. Uh. Why don't you hop in the jeep and drive back? It's...it's okay. Okay?"

Warren's not sure it is okay (did Andrew technically have sex with a guy?) but...he would very much like Andrew to be okay.

"Do you...wanna...talk?"

*He kind of does.*

I slept with her. While she was mind-controlled.

There's a word for that.

We're not getting past that anytime soon.

Warren swallows.

"Andrew you didn't know. And you didn't do it to her. This isn't like...that."
