Draco was nervous about the bar, since the strange singing from Mia didn't seem entirely just from her being stoned. But the place helped him to focus and take a break from the paperwork that just kept increasing now. Along with wedding plans for next summer.

And yet he found himself in the bar and felt his clothes shift. Now wearing robes he hadn't worn since...

last year

. Bugger... Althena give me strength.

But instead of saying anything out loud he sang instead.

Mia wasn't far away, working on something or other. There were some papers, but they were mostly a front for her real paperwork.

Which appears to be working on wedding vows.

Then she hears the singing.

She's heard Draco sing before, but it wasn't quite like this. She's peering at him over her booth.

Practically swooning, actually.

Draco continued singing, and dancing as well. Having found a microphone somewhere.

"Jump magic jump.
Jump magic jump
Slap that baby make him free!
Dance magic dance."

Okay, now she's just giggling at him, putting her head down so that he doesn't see her.

He finally finished the song, and scowled.

"Merlin take it! Blessed Althena not again!" Stomping his way to a table and waving for some firewhiskey to be brought over.

She finds it interesting that he's talking about Althena. Didn't she tell him once before...?

Ah yes. She did. Then this happened.

"The song wasn't all that bad," she says, trying to be comforting.

He glanced up suddenly.

"....You saw that?"

Her smile should be answer enough.

Draco's head went down on the table, and he groaned loudly.

"I can't believe that happened again!"

She moves from her table to sit by him.

"This has happened before?"

"Not since last year. I checked, and the Memory Charm couldn't get rid of those. Probably since a spell was involved already."

She strokes his hair a little.

"At least you have a lovely singing voice."

"Well, yes, just like to have some control about performing or not." He leaned against her hand as he spoke.

Draco then eyed his outfit, "And this leather thing chafes."

"Too bad."

As it looks pretty good on him.

"It was an interesting song."

"Not my idea. Something's wrong with the place again."

"Well, it seems to be over for now."

She looks at him curiously.

"Where do you know that song from?"

"I don't know actually. Some muggle singer."

"It reminds me of a song that I heard you sing a little bit before."

He started to sing the latter lyrics along with her.

"And when I get excited, my little china girl

When they finish the song, Mia tilts her head down bashfully with a smile.

"Sounds a little like us."

"A little," He admitted.

He then sang to her, "Oh we can be heroes-just for one day

This just causes her to blush and smile and look charming and glow.

She might be reaching to take his hand.

He clutched her hand, and wound up spinning her into a dance.

"We can be heroes, just for one day."

Mia easily falls into step with him, but not before leaning up to give him a kiss on the cheek.

He swept her close, kissing back deeply for a moment. One way not to have to worry about singing.

She pulls away a while after and says, "You stopped singing."

"Good, seemed to stop it."

He heard music again, and quickly leaned forward to kiss her again.

She pulls back a little to keep him from kissing her, but just so she could say, "But I like your singing."

He'll probably get her on the follow through, though.

"...I can't stop the music," Singing that a little.

"Let's dance, under the stars on the radio..."

Mia smiles and continues to dance with him.

And if he decides to kiss her again, well, she won't stop him.

He did kiss her again to stop the singing, but continued dancing with her.

Aw, she's going to miss his singing voice.

But kissing and dancing is nice too.

When he broke the kiss for air, he found himself singing something else.

She stops dancing for a moment and runs a hand through his hair.

Simply stands there and holds him for a moment.

His head tilted at that, but he then turned to sing out more.

If his lyrics have a specific message for her, then she's pointedly ignoring it.

The words won't stop her from holding him close.

It was how he felt, what he feared that he would end up doing with her.

But when he sees her, Mia's smile is kind and loving.

Her hand is on his cheek again and he'll get to hear another part of the song.

He just smiled back at her, finally quiet as his grey eyes met her purple eyes.

And she finishes the song.

Well. At least someone has a little taste music-wise in this place even if it happens to be the pillock that Artemis Fowl remembers from the forest that one. Still, with Bowie being a favorite of Artemis's and all...

"While I'll commend you on your choice, I don't suppose you could quiet yourself for the sake of those of us who prefer the original?"

Well now the current magic of the bar just had Draco performing for him.

When the song finally ended, Draco facepalmed and groaned.

"NOT AGAIN!"

Artemis raises an eyebrow, looking vaguely amused at the explanation. "Not again, hm? Does this happen often with you then, this need to break out in song? If so, a little warning might be nice next time so a person can remove himself properly from the room before you begin and all."

"Not for a year," Draco scowled at him. Oh that berk again.

"Something's wrong with the bar again, I don't do this usually. Some kind of spell or curse again."

"Really? How terrible for you," Artemis says with feigned boredom. In actuality though, he's hoping it's not catching. He's had enough humiliation from this bar already to last him a life time.

Draco smirked at that, "Terrible for all. Anybody could be hit by it by the looks of it."

He found himself singing again, "Pressure.. pressing down on me..."
