Hel is far too large to fit into the bar now, but the rats remember the tall young woman who tipped so very well and information is passed along until, at the last, the even taller, not so young, woman by the lake is greeted with a pitcher of hot chocolate (with peppers), a Jaguar tooth, and a card.

Eventually she'll test the card. Eventually, when she's up to risking disappointment. For now she's just going to look at the precious items she spent so long thinking were gone.

She reached over, tentatively, to pat Hel's ankle consolingly. She was really hoping it wasn't just the woman's hands that were immune! "Like some?"

The skirt tears, but the ankle below it is unharmed. "Thank you, but no. I try not to eat things that require chewing. I can't always tell if my tongue is between my teeth."

"That would be bad" she agreed, wincing away from the torn clothing, knowing she couldn't fix it "Juice may be?"

"Do not worry, little one." Hel tells the wince, "I tear my clothing all the time. I would not mind juice."

Mostly for the girl's sake. Apples aren't something strong enough that she can really taste them.

She liked sharing apples! So, with a parting grin, she was off to fetch things...or rather, to fetch an apple for herself and a wait rat with another pitcher for Hel.

It was heavily spiced cider at least, rather than simple juice?

"Sorry you can not chew well. Miss a lot?"

"Not really." Hel says, accepting the drink with care. "I never have been able to taste much."

"Oh. I am sorry, I like to taste, do not need eat much...but like to try." at this point? She was trying to explain her rude questions of earlier given the circumstances!

"Can smell maybe? Can find nice things smell..."

"I smell very well." Hel agrees, "I like the smell of the sun on plants best of all."

"Okay!" she would probably bring Hel plants, or have the wait rats bring them...or a cutting from her apple tree when it was larger. There were many options now!

This was probably why Penny was grinning.

Hel smiles back, "Thank you." and she moves her hand (right hand) in a small bleßun for the girl.

"Welcome!" she chimed happily, nibbling at her apple "Thank you for talking!" she was very good at being polite!

"You are very welcome." Hel gets lonely. Really, really lonely.
