The mun was not going to post Boo in this weekend. She was going to take some time to finish slowtimes and work on small plotty things. However, the mun forgot that she had IDEAS. She also forgot that she, too, is helpless against the cuteness that is Boo. And SO, here we are.
Boo is outside her blanket fort. She appears to be All Better! from last week's being sick thing. She's hopping around and singing. On top of her blanket fort there is a half eaten plate of cake and a pink Hello Kitty! sippy filled with lukewarm hot chocolate.
Boo has definitely been affected by the people she's met here.
It should be noted what Boo is wearing! She has on a white t-shirt with a large, red " Hello, My Name Is " logo on it. And in the name portion of the logo "Boo!" appears to be handwritten on it. (except it's not hand written; it's printed on there like the rest) On the rest of the shirt there are smaller and different colored "Hello, My Name Is" logos, with all of the names she's called on them. "Boo!" is there a few more times, "Grace" and "Gracie" are on there at least two times each, "Half Pint," "Squirt" "Zow" "Mike" and "Mike Wizowski" are also featured prominently. There is also "Little Bit", "Little One" "Cutie" and possibly several others that the mun has forgotten.
She also has on black jean shorts and white bunny house shoes that JINGLES WHEN SHE MOVES HER FEET. This might explain why she's dancing around. SHE LOVES HER NEW SHOES!
It's unclear where Boo got all these items, or how they got onto her person. But she has them on and she LOVES THEM and thus it's all happy making in the end.

So Kate gingerly lifts Fred's bag, holding its edges firmly and leaving plenty of room for Boo-sized hands to quasi-help with the pouring.
"Ready?" she asks, the bag hovering safely over the lip of the tank.
no subject
EEE!
no subject
"Good job," she grins, then points to Fred as he swims about in his new surroundings. "Check it out, Boo. Think he likes his new home?"
no subject
Boo squeels and points excitedly at Fred-in-the-tank.
"F'ED ISSS!"
no subject
"I see."
A thoughtful beat.
"And now what are we going to do with him?"
They can't exactly leave him here on the bartop. Or in Boo's blanket fort.
no subject
Isn't it obvious?
She points to the stairs.
"Lellow Kake hos!"
no subject
But she doesn't — can't — Fred can't ...
But there's really no other solution, is there?
no subject
"F'ed isss! Lellow Kake hos!"
no subject
Boo wins. Obviously.
"Okay ... Fred the Fish can stay in my room."
It'll only take a small army of wait-rats to get Fred and his tank upstairs. Maybe there's a pulley system. Or a dumbwaiter.
no subject
"lesdoe Lellow Kake hos!"
no subject
Of course. Boo's two. Two-year-olds are all about the instant gratification.
After a conversation with Bar that involved several napkins, the aforementioned small army of wait-rats does appear, and hurry to move Fred the Fish and his tank to Kate's room.
Kate looks at Boo.
"Ready?"
no subject
EXCITED BOO IS EXCITED!
no subject
Kate holds out a hand, laughing.
"I've never taken care of a fish before — you may have to help me out, okay? Help feed him?"
She's making a mental note to ask Bar for a copy of So You Have a Fish Now. Or maybe Fish Tanks for Dummies.
no subject
"Boo Lellow Kake hos hep Fe'd Iss!"
no subject
She picks up Boo and heads upstairs.
The wait-rats have a surprisingly good lead, and by the time they reach Kate's room, the tank is already on the desk and the rats are gone.
no subject
"F'ED ISS!" She runs over to the desk, climbs up on the chair and pushes her face against the glass.
"Hiii!" She pokes the glass and waves at Fred.
no subject
"Where'd he go?" she asks, leaning down a bit, all the better to see into the tank.
no subject
Then around the other side.
"HOS!" She points and looks up at Kate, triumphant.
no subject
"Oh, I see," she nods, spotting Fred's pocket-sized tail. "Think he wants a nap?"
no subject
Then she looks back at Kate and points to her bed.
"Slep!"
no subject
Then at Boo.
At the bed.
And back to Boo.
"Oh, sweetie, Fred sleeps in the water. In his own house. See?"
She points to Fred's house.
no subject
"F'ed iss slep wad'r hos?"
She reaches up and touches the water gently.
no subject
"Fred the Fish sleeps in the water, that's right. All fish sleep in the water."
She ruffles Boo's bangs.
"Not like us. We sleep in beds like that," she adds, inclining her head toward it.
no subject
no subject
"Fred's good in the tank," she says slowly. "But you can sleep in the bed, Gracie-Boo. Anytime you want."
