In an attempt to better understand one Bart Allen and his concept of "human relationships," Jenny has asked for a book from Bar.

Dating for Dummies appears seconds later along with a note and another book. Bartending? She stares at for seconds, not noticing the red and yellow blur that's run up to the bar beside her until it speaks.

"Hey, Gorgeous, what's up?"

The dating guide gets knocked to the other side of the bar as she tries to hide it from Bart's curious eyes. Instead, she holds up the note. "Bartending. Ever try it?"

"No," he answers. Next thing Jenny notices, he's behind the bar. "But there's a first time for everything."

She follows Bart behind the bar quickly, if just to hide the dating book again. Thankfully, Bar is on her side and new napkins appear with instructions to Bart as what to do. Soon enough, everything is set up for Happy Hour:

Charlie smiles upon seeing Jenny. After being dissed by the bartender Thursday, he's glad to see a friendly face. And one that he doesn't know.

"Can I get a mineral water?"

The mineral water can wait for a moment. Charlie is the first person she met here and as such, Jenny has to show off Bart to him.

"Charlie!" There is a big grin on her face as she tugs Bart closer. "Charlie, I'd like you to meet Jay! He's my... um. He's Jay!"

"Nice to meet you, Jay." He smiles at the idea of Jenny having an apparent boyfriend. It's a bit surprising, but also oddly cute. "How are you doing, Jenny? Have you been exploring the Bar?"

She nods, grinning as she pours Charlie a glass of water. "Yeah, and it's all kind of brilliant. Jay and I met a goddess and she took us on a flight up to the mountains! I'm so happy I decided to stick around."

Her hiding skills need a little bit of work. At least, from SPEEDSTERS.

I.E., he has glimpsed Dating for Dummies, and cranes his neck for a better look. "What's that?"

He is not supposed to see the book. Or the way Jenny flushes with embarrassment as she tries to kick it underneath the ice bucket.

"Just a book."

"What kind of book?" Digging innocently under the ice bucket for said book.

Have an AC. He's currently staring down at Bart, and wondering how the speedster managed to end up on that side of the bar. "I think I'll have some water, Bart."

What? He always orders that.

And even "some water", though the dude is TOTALLY missing out with something so plain as water.

"Bart", on the other hand, has him going WTF I DON'T KNOW THIS DUDE.

Wary streetkid is a go. "I think you must be mistaken, because my name's not Bart."

And wary supersoldier sort-of-girlfriend is also a girl.

She's eying AC with intent curiosity rather than any worry, though.

"It's Jay." Beat. "You know Jay?"

And Atlantean prince is not in the loop on this whole 'I told her my name was Jay' routine Impulse has going. So he's going to get a Look.

"Nice try. Just give me a water and I won't tell Oliver, or Clark, that you're underage and bartending."

And there is a WHOOSH and Bart is reading off the ingrediants from the book that was not there a second ago. "Gin, apricot brandy, Lemon juice, and grenadine."

Jenny sticks her tongue out at Bart and laughs.

"What he said! It's his favourite colour, at least."

"I see," she says. "I'll try."

Christian is at the bar - again. He decides he's still celebrating all the writing he's managed to accomplish, and, in a way, also celebrate that last night was the first time he's been to the bar in weeks.

The last thought is almost a contradiction, so he doesn't think about it for very long.

He stands and stares at the board, trying to decide which special he'd like to try. He doesn't recognize any of them. He fiddles with his suspenders, then sticks his hands in his pockets and asks no one in particular, "What's a 'Yellow Strawberry'?"

She shrugs and glances towards Bart.

"I don't really remember. We got it out of a book."

"Ah," he says, nodding to the young blond woman. "Well, then. I'll have... one of those, please." He takes a seat at the bar and scans to see if there's a bowl of nuts on the go.

Bart has his nose stuck in the book.

"Light rum, Creme de Banane, strawberries, sweet and sour, and banana."

WHOOSH.

And Christian has his drink! "Enjoy, dude."

(Hush, he totally does have the best bartending manner ever.)

Excuse Clark as he does a bit of a double take on his way past the bar.

"Bart? Aren't you a little young for this?" Ignore the fact that Clark has tended bar here twice himself. He's Clark.

He is totally prepared to claim to be twenty-one. Yep.

"You want anything, dude?"

Yet another person calling him Jay. Jenny regards Clark with suspicion and takes a step closer to her sorta-boyfriend.

"He prefers Jay," she states. "Does this make you Clark?"

Clark eyes Bart carefully. "Jay Garrick, I remember. I'm good, though." See, Bart? This is what happens when you make friends with people who hardly forget anything.

"And yes, I'm Clark. Kent." He holds a hand out to Jenny. "You a friend of... Jay's from here?"
