Pent up energy is never a good thing. And while Jenny has found some old and new ways to expel such, there's nothing like her favourite. Which is why she's outside today, dressed in new clothing as provided by Bar (tank top and shorts, all brightly coloured) and running around the lake.

So far, going for runs outside has proven to be much nicer than running through the tunnels of Messaline. Actually, everything has been much nicer than the life she was born into.

...she'll probably give you an excited rundown of that everything if you stop her!

"I've been okay. There are a lot of things I've been learning here." Mainly how not to annoy people with the wrong questions. "And you?" He falls into a good pace.

"You mean you and Jay?" He smiles a bit. It's sort of cute. "Human relationships are very, very difficult. And you to admit, you are rather new to them."

"I could tell." A blind man looking in the other direction in the next county over could tell. "But...well, you really should try to be a little careful. Seeing he's your first boyfriend and all." As if he has any clue how to give advice to genetically engineered teenagers and the speedsters in their lives.

In for a penny, in for a pound. "Well, in lots of ways. First off, you really should be careful when you have sex. Use some protection, at least. And if he isn't going to do that, tell him to calm down." He has no illusions that they won't act this way. He was that age once and also has no philosophical objections to it. "I could tell you and him to slow down, but I don't think that's likely."

That is far more information than he needed. But it puts his mind at ease to know that there aren't going to be any speedster babies too soon. And he doesn't blush.

"OK, good. But the difficult part is dealing with him. As a person. Relationships - letting people into your space - aren't easy. And neither of you is really formed as a person yet."
