Pent up energy is never a good thing. And while Jenny has found some old and new ways to expel such, there's nothing like her favourite. Which is why she's outside today, dressed in new clothing as provided by Bar (tank top and shorts, all brightly coloured) and running around the lake.
So far, going for runs outside has proven to be much nicer than running through the tunnels of Messaline. Actually, everything has been much nicer than the life she was born into.
...she'll probably give you an excited rundown of that everything if you stop her!
[ooc: mun stuck on train all day, please entertain!]

Human-shapped creatures.
Medusa, sitting in a tree (she needed to get away from her sisters, get away before she killed them, and inside was...inside), has her eyes firmly closed in an effort not to notice - her sense of smell and heat-sensitivity do not extend that far.
But the trouble with having bloody great big golden wings is that they are noticable, even when one is sitting in a tree.

It really doesn't take long for Jenny to notice her then. And it's with a smile and a wave that she approaches.
"Hello!"
no subject
"Morning!"
(Medusa's voice is like a flute - clear, soprano, not exactly very human)
no subject
"Beautiful morning, isn't it? I absolutely love it out here!"

Still, "Can do!" And Jenny slows done just a bit. "How have you been, Charlie?"

Unless Jenny is used to six foot plus men who pace anywhere from six inches to six feet from the nearest bit of ground dressed in black boots, a black coat that covers him from neck to ankles, and black gloves. He's also got a triad of hairstyles going: sideburns, dreadlocks, and topknot. Somehow he makes it work.
no subject
Still, it doesn't hurt to ask. "Aren't you warm dressed like that?"
no subject
Neither are his preferred element but he can survive them.

Not exactly ideal swimming attire, but he's making a surprisingly good show of it.
no subject
Still, at some stop in her run, she watches him swim. And may be giggling at the way the cape seems to float on the water.
no subject
The cape, large as it is, provides the greatest impediment; otherwise, he really could be in a wetsuit. He's compensating for it admirably, though; while he's doing a front crawl, he's giving it an odd sideways wiggle to let the water sweep the cape out of the way of his arms at each pass.
He hears that giggle as he tilts his head, and waves one hand in mid-stroke. "Hello, there."
