In Enzo's defence, the pink thing at the end of the Bar has been inert lately. He really didn't think it a problem to go to that end for an order of chips.

Oh, how wrong he was.

He realizes his mistake as the music begins and he starts dancing involuntarily.

Thank goodness he hadn't picked up the chips yet.

[Uh-oh, the Karaoke Machine's on! Watch the ~~horror~~fun, or get ensnared yourself!]

That is what Enzo's expression says, because, wouldn't you know it, once wasn't enough for the darn machine.

^♫I need no sympathy!^♫

The machine is so totally scrap. After he's done singing.

Any way the wind blows,
doesn't really matter to me,

Red's voice just isn't meant to hit that soft long note. It's painful, but because of the machine he gives it a try.

Enzo doesn't have his toy gun with him today. This may be just as well, considering the Karaoke Machine's propensity for choreography.

Choreography is right. Red plants a hand on his chest and bends his head low, eyes closed in a clearly soulful performance.

Sends shivers down my spine,
Body's aching all the time.

Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth-
Mama, oooooooh-"

Dramatic gesture! Enzo's hand goes up like Hamlet addressing the remains of a dead fool.

I sometimes wish I'd never been born at allll..."

The karaoke machine kicks in its own rocking sounds and Red air guitars before the words pick up again.

Enzo, alas, is stuck with the air piano.

^♫I see a little silhouetto of a man!^♫

In a deep, bellowing voice Red sings,

"Scaramouche,scaramouche will you do the Fandango?"

then leans close to Enzo as they sing in unison:

^♫Thunderbolts and lightning, very very fright'ning me!

Galileo!^♫ Enzo shrills by himself.

"Galileo!" Red booms beside him.

^♫Galileo!^♫

"Galileo!"

Enzo joins Red on ^♫Galileo, Figaro!^♫

Galileo he knows of, barely, but he's never heard of a language called Figaro...

"Magnificoooo!"

Sung in a high belt that drops lower with the music.

The lyrics seem to switch tracks here, though the music stays the same.

^♫I'm just a poor boy, nobody loves me!^♫

Oh, real nice.

"He's just a poor boy from a poor family.
Spare him his life from this monstrosity!"

Red's is nice too. Nice and loud.

Will you let me go?^♫

Survey says: not 'til the end of the song.

Which better be soon Red's thinking.

"Bismillah! No!,we will not let you go!"

^♫Let him go!^♫ shrieks Enzo. The Karaoke Machine cares not about inappropriate changes in pronoun!

"Bismillah! We will not let you go!"

Why should it care about little things like pronouns when clearly it doesn't even bother with self preservation. Red wouldn't be singing now if it did.

^♫Let him go!^♫

Seriously. Let him go if you know what's good for you.

"Bismillah! We will not let you go!"

Red knows this song, and knows it's almost over. Already his stone fingers are tightening. Hopefully he won't dent the counter when he wallops the machine.

Well. Two-thirds over.

^♫Let me go!^♫ Okay, the pronouns seem back on track.

One-third to go. Red can take it.

"Will not let you go!

^♫Let me go! Never, never...^♫ he sings under Red's next line.
