Sam Linnfer does not like suits. Tidiness is not something that suits him, and it shows. (He still can’t believe Guppy’s forced him into this.) The suit, however, does suit him, for all he looks uncomfortable in it. He’s sitting on a table in the middle of the bar, swinging his legs idly and carefully drinking coffee while he waits for Medusa to come downstairs.
When she does arrive, stunning in her dress, wings hidden by the ring Hephaestos gave her, snakes hidden by the bracelet from Asar-Suti, she also looks worried: not so much about what she’s wearing, she knows she looks utterly stunning, but at the prospect of having to spend an entire day pretending to be human.
The look Sam gives her when he sees her helps, though. So for the moment they’re going to be sitting together on the table, being mushy.
Somebody interrupt them before they’re late for the wedding?
[OOC: Millitimed to before they leave for Guppy's wedding.]

She's ignoring said wedding in favour of tracing the lines on Sam's palm.
"The henna would have suited you," she tells him.

So hurt, in fact, that he kisses her again.

Right.

...Maybe suits aren't so bad, after all.

Artemis clears her throat.

"Artemis!"
It's then she turns a deep, dusky pink.

He looks up at Artemis and grins, totally unabashed, because look at the girl he's with!
"Hi, there."
Because Sam's like that, too.

Artemis grins back. "And I assume this would be the Lucifer I've heard so much about?"
no subject
Still very, very pink.
"Um. He tends to go by Sam, only I'm very bad at remembering it. And. Um. Sam, this is...Artemis. Obviously. She's one of the more likable gods from that side of the family."
They have discussions about falling to the ground at great speed from fatal heights. Not to mention Artemis healed her.

Sam offers Artemis his hand. "Pleased to meet you."

"You guys are headed off to the wedding, then?

Of course, how they were going to notice Guppy is an entirely meaningless and unimportant question.
"I look human...ish. Right?"
no subject
"But nobody at the wedding will question your humanity, no."
no subject
"And you look amazing, by the way."
She's not above shameless flattery. Especially not when it's true.
no subject
She means it, too.
"Although, actually I think the whole thing is worth seeing Sam be neat for once."
