Sam Linnfer does not like suits. Tidiness is not something that suits him, and it shows. (He still can’t believe Guppy’s forced him into this.) The suit, however, does suit him, for all he looks uncomfortable in it. He’s sitting on a table in the middle of the bar, swinging his legs idly and carefully drinking coffee while he waits for Medusa to come downstairs.

When she does arrive, stunning in her dress, wings hidden by the ring Hephaestos gave her, snakes hidden by the bracelet from Asar-Suti, she also looks worried: not so much about what she’s wearing, she knows she looks utterly stunning, but at the prospect of having to spend an entire day pretending to be human.

The look Sam gives her when he sees her helps, though. So for the moment they’re going to be sitting together on the table, being mushy.

Somebody interrupt them before they’re late for the wedding?

[OOC: Millitimed to before they leave for Guppy's wedding.]

"Pleasure to meet you, too," she says, shaking his hand.

"You guys are headed off to the wedding, then?

"Just waiting for Guppy to take us there."

Of course, how they were going to notice Guppy is an entirely meaningless and unimportant question.

"I look human...ish. Right?"

"You're gonna do just fine," Artemis says.

"And you look amazing, by the way."

She's not above shameless flattery. Especially not when it's true.

"Thank you."

She means it, too.

"Although, actually I think the whole thing is worth seeing Sam be neat for once."
