Shufti has spent Leah's naptime doing Security paperwork. With the baby now awake she has come into the main bar, since the office isn't really the place to entertain her.

They're now near the trilobite tank, with the addition of Jack.

And they are joined by a prod dad, who greets his wife and children in turn. "Hey babe. What's up?"

Oh, yes, like they were not together earlier the same day... but that's CJ.

"Me played silly face with Leah." Jack says, going up to his dad for a cuddle. Shufti smiles softly, holding the baby up against her shoulder.

"Been in the office doing some work while Jack and Leah were napping; I had the moniter on of course."

CJ gives his wife a kiss, then holds his son close. Hmm, nice hug. "So you are helping mommy take care of your little sister? That's my son." CJ beams with pride at Jack.

"Eh, I was doing paperwork with Kendl too. She is talking about going to school again, and becoming a manager... and she will drag Cesar along."

"That sounds good, I would have liked to go to school." She smiles and holds Leah out to her daddy.

"Mummy says I can help with the baby." Jack says. "'cos I'm the big bruvva."

"Big, strong brother." He nods, picking Leah without letting go of Jack.

"You can if you want, love. You and Kendl and Cesar, we could hire a teacher to come by the house, and you three could have classes."

"Wouldn't the teacher want to know why I didn't go to school?"

"Nope, if he is a hired one, he worries about having students and being paid after he teaches." Ah, the world of capitalism.

"That sounds good then." Shufti smiles. "But we're a little busy with the kids right now for me to start that."

"Anytime you want to start, love, I can take care of Leah for you. jack will help daddy, right Jack? My big son will help daddy take care of your little sister?" Baseball schmaseball, CJ bought Jack a junior basketball and has been teaching him the basics.

Jack nods. He's learned that accidentally dropping the ball on his nose is unpleasant.

"I know." Shufti kisses him. "Thank you. Let's get her past breast feeding."

And CJ has been showing him how to shoot and throw, having set up his own practice area in the gym at the house.

Betty is kissed back... "Like I said, anytime, love."

"What are you up to today? I think we need to go to the supermarket."

"I'm done with paperwork and checking stuff that needed checking, so..." he leans close to kiss her again. "Love you, babe."

"Love you too." She slips an arm around him.

"We should make sure we take lots of iconographs. While Leah's still little."

"Photos or pics. Same thing, smaller word." Even if CJ knows that the big word is morte correct. "We could buy a couple cameras and keep one here, one at home... so we could take pics anytime."

Shufti shakes her head and smiles.

"No, those don't use elves. I do know the difference."

And now CJ is puzzled. "Elves? They use magic, or they draw really fast?"

Nope, he is not being funny.

"A bit of both. They paint pictures."

"Dat's something I would like to see sometime." He chuckles low, nodding.

Hmm, happy dad, arms full with his children.

"I bet I could get one if I pop to Lancre." Shufti says with a grin. "Then you could talk to the imp about it."

"Nah, lets drop by a shop downtown and get us cameras, so we can take lots of pictures of our children." CJ grins, shifting a bit to hold Jack and Leah a bit closer. "You know, I never imagined I would like being a father so much."

"Well you've had plenty of practice with Jack, so the sleepless nights shouldn't be too much of a shock."

"Sleepless nights? easy." He grins, shaking head. "You need the rest, and Jack helps me when it's day."

"I know, I'd forgotton how exhausting new babies are." She snuggles up to him.

"You are very welcome, anytime, love. Anytime." CJ kisses Betty's forehead, holding his wife and kids.

Nothing could be more right, right now.
