Its been raining for the past week in Nottingham so Will beams with gratitude when he finds a door to the Bar.

After a few moments, he is stretched out on a couch with hot chocolate, soup and his cloak drying by the fire as he feels dry for the first time in days.

"It's certainly not your fault." Guppy says. "You've got better things to do than look out for me being silly."

"Its na that either, bein' called a coward is a 'ard thing but ye're na one."

"To give Teja credit, he didn't say it outright, and he was just trying to help. I guess it just struck a nerve because it's hard to not feel like a coward when I know that fear affects a lot of what I do. I wanted to talk to Frogs but I was worried she'd be worried."

"Should talk to 'er, she's yer wife, means sharin' all that stuff e'en if seems silly."

[guppy_sandhu]

"I will. She's going to want to know what happened to my thumb anyway."

"Aye an ye'll feel better too."

[guppy_sandhu]

Guppy nods.

"I think she'll understand. She knows I've been more panicky this week anyway."

"An she'll wish to aid ye."

[guppy_sandhu]

Guppy nods.

"And not just because she infested the living room with fleas and I had to clean up."

Look Will, you cheered him up.

"Fleas?"

[guppy_sandhu]

"She brought an injured hedgehog home." Guppy explains. "It was slightly infested and I had to fumigate the living room."

"Oh dear, is the wee critter alright?"

[guppy_sandhu]

"It is now. It's sort of cute, without the fleas. It needs a few weeks of looking after while its fracture heals."

"Ye two are always carin' for e'eryone."

[guppy_sandhu]

Guppy smiles fondly.

"Frogs used to want to be a vet, but she couldn't bear the idea of putting animals down. Plus vet school is very hard to get into."

"Oh aye, still glad she can 'elp creatures."

[guppy_sandhu]

"Well she helps humans all day." Guppy points out. "The creatures are a hobby."

[will_scarlett]

"Aye, still shows good bit o'kindness."

[guppy_sandhu]

Guppy nods, smiling fondly.

"'ow are things goin' with 'er bein' pregnant?"

[guppy_sandhu]

"We both have pickle cravings, which is just weird."

[will_scarlett]

"Oh aye, what sort o'pickle?"

[guppy_sandhu]

"Pickled onions mostly. We're both eating about half a jar a day."

[will_scarlett]

"Sounds a bit smelly."

[guppy_sandhu]

"They are, but cravings are weird."
