Sam hasn't been sleeping well and he was going to work in the forge but found he wasn't sure about any of his projects.

The Bar is a mess, he walked in on the end of the brawl and quickly went upstairs, fights tend to get complicated quickly.

He orders some tea and a sandwich before finding a nice spot by the fire and pulls out the book he found. Its about magic but from a world that doesn't quite believe its real, maybe he can get some ideas from it or better understand more people here.

He just doesn't want to think about Death or enemies he doesn't know how to face or how his door is still missing.

A door materializes in the Bar, swirling with images of snakes that play over the surface in two dimensions. A harbinger, perhaps?

The door opens a few moments later and through it steps a fit looking woman of medium height with strikingly bright green eyes, long black hair, and an outfit that suggests she might be in the cape business. Her hair is partially held off her face with a beautifully detailed green enamel snake ornament. She wears a black legless bodysuit and both her tough looking green gauntlets and green boots are reinforced with green metal.

She's also showing plenty of cleavage, but that's not her usual modus operandi.

The look of surprise on her face will later embarrass her. Cautiously she steps forward, then looks back over her shoulder through her door. Yes, B.A.D. Girls headquarters is still there behind her.

She turns back to face Milliways.

"Asp? Diamondback?" she calls. "Are you in here?"

What fresh hell is this?

[OOM: Immediately before ... ]

Lily leans back in her chair by the fireplace for a moment, with her eyes closed, and sighs.

And then she straightens and reaches down to pick a book up out of the floor by her feet.

Happy Hour

Urquhart had just wanted a bowl of dog food for Franz; but when he approaches the bar tonight, he gets the familiar yellow napkin.

Well.

There are worse things.-

Then, he stands behind the bar and waits for customers. Franz the dog settles down underneath a bar stool.

It's dusk.

All afternoon, Elrond's been exploring the grounds around Milliways. He'd been inside for too long and feeling the wind on his skin had been just what he needed. He'd found a long, straight stick and had spent an hour or so going through the parry and thrust patterns they used at home for warm-ups before sparring.

Now, he's wandered down to the lake and is standing there, looking up at the skies. The stars.

Not his stars, but still - the twinkling above always brings peace to his mind just as exercise brings peace to his body.

The wind blows his hair gently to and fro as he tips his head back and softly sings a hymn to the Star Lady.

[Per arrangement, but open to all. Slow as mud as usual. The song]

Vergil, right now, is one of the happiest Huragok alive. D0G brought gifts! Lots of them! So many ancient bits of technology to play with and take apart and learn from! So many possible reconfigurations and alterations! Vergil really must come up with some suitable way of thanking the robot...

... so for those of you who've only just stopped in, there's a lovestruck six-foot glowing levitating space squid fooling around with Earth tech toys at alarming speeds over at one of the tables. Just so's you know.
