Mallory comes into the bar with a look of relief on her face. She's carrying a tote bag that is bulging at the seams, and she wastes no time dropping it on the nearest table and waving down a waitrat for some tea. She also demands something completely unhealthy and filled with sugar.

It's been a long day.

She begins to unpack her bag, revealing a laptop, a phone declaring she has 17 text messages, several bridal magazines, several notebooks with labels both in English and Japanese, a text book and several pens and pencils.

She looks as though she might doze off soon, so maybe a distraction is what she needs?

"This," Arcade says to no one in particular, "was really not supposed to be here. What happened to the Westside Co-op?"

He obviously doesn't expect an answer, from the way he heaves a sigh and stalks over to the Bar. He's been here before and he knows the drill, but that doesn't make having his day's errands interrupted any more entertaining. On the other hand, at least he gets a little time to fish a hideously burnt and faintly moldy-smelling book out of his lab coat's pocket, sit down with his book and his bottle of Gamma Gulp, and start trying to transcribe something sensible out of the ashes.

Or he could be interrupted, too. Either way.

There is a not'cat stretched out in front of the fireplace, this afternoon. But don't assume he's lazy! (At least not at the moment.) He's got a small stack of books about martial arts philosophy within reach, and one open in front of him so he might study.

He'd even be reading the book if there weren't two cats, a calico and a young grey, sitting on said book and keeping Yrael company.

Of course, by keeping him company we mean demanding scritches.

(He doesn't mind.)

This time, when Tsu'tey ends up in Millwiays, he really isn't expecting it; even less than he was expecting it the first time, which says quite a lot. He comes in from outside, flying on his ikran--they're still relatively new to each other, so when he's startled at the change in surroundings, so is she, but to a much more dangerous extent. It takes a while to calm the creature down, even with the bond between them acting as a buffer.

Once that's done, he steps inside and--after a long moment of unsure eyeing--asks for a simple loom and spun thread, taking it outside once he's collected the necessary materials to begin warping the loom.

[ooc: catch him either in or out, before or after he's gotten his loom; I'm easy that way! Just let me know where you want him.
ooc #2: all threads will be millitimed to before the one with Quaritch!]

It's been quite some time since John was last in the bar. He's become a father twice more since his last visit, and he hasn't been to the Archipelago once. (He's hesitant to admit he misses it, even to Jack and Charles.)

Being in Milliways is almost as good, though, and it is with a smile that he approaches the bar and asks if he might have a spot of tea.

The napkin that appears with it is greeted by a widening of his smile.

"Of course, old girl. I'd be delighted to."

A few minutes later, he's set up behind the bar.

X slips in through the front door, stopping by Bar to get the correct solvent to aid in removing her mask. The glowing red eyes do not do anyone any favors.

That accomplished, she settles down in a corner booth, pulls out her laptop, and gets to work.

Maps of coastal waters wait for no woman, and she has a ship to track.

They've had radio contact with Andamooka. Shephard and his group are alive and so are some other people. That is literally all that the people on the Borealis know about the situation. Gordon is less than pleased.

Still, at least there's more people here. And unless he greatly misses his guess, Shephard is on his way back.

... dammit, this was supposed to be the ship's galley. Well, at least he can get something to eat here too.
