Will's outside at the archery range, its a good thing to do as he thinks about what maybe coming this tax time.

Also he's worrying about Guppy though at least Kate's doing better.

Will finishes his quiver and waves back as he watches Billy, trying to understand what he's doing.

Good luck trying to find a pattern, because there isn't one. When Billy sees Will watching, all the objects vanish with a whispered spell.

"Hey, Will."

"Day, Billy, what are ye workin' on?"

"Just, you know, getting things when I need them. Wasting time. You?"

"Keepin' in practice, try to come out 'ere e'eryday when I can."

"Right." Billy's quiet. "Are you doing alright?"

"Oh aye just wishin' I knew what the Sheriff was plannin'."

"You'll figure something out." Billy sounds sure of that.

"Aye, just 'elps to know bit more 'ead o'time."

"Yeah. Not much we can do about it, though."

"Nay, just keep listenin' is all. 'ow are ye doin'?"

"Well enough. Teddy's here." That's all that matters mostly. "Complicates things a little. How's Kate?"

"Seems well. 'ow does 'e complicate things?"

Billy can't remember if he told Will about Things. He makes a vague gesture with his hands. "Um. It just does."

"Glad to listen if ye think might aid things."

"Not sure how impartial you'd be in this situation, Will." Billy shrugs.

"Fair 'nough. This 'bout Xaldin?"

"Yeah." Billy tugs his earring.

"Ye know 'im better than I do an know Kate trusts ye. Offers still there."

"Just. I think Teddy suspects something between me and him?"

"Oh aye, 'as 'e asked ye 'bout it or 'ave ye two spoken o''im?"

"Not directly. And I'm not going to bring it up. He-- the worst part is? He wouldn't mind."

"Might aid things though else will just fester there na bein' spoken o'."

"After the war," Billy says firmly. "After the war."

"Aye just dinna wait too long."
