Will's outside at the archery range, its a good thing to do as he thinks about what maybe coming this tax time.

Also he's worrying about Guppy though at least Kate's doing better.

Teja is outside, with his axe, as well.

"Greetings, Will!" he says, walking up to the young outlaw.

"Day, milord, 'ow are ye farin'?"

He fires the last arrow in the quiver before turning and bowing to Teja.

Teja nods to him in greeting.

"Well," he says, "even though it has turned cold, sharply, and much earlier than it would in the lands I come from. One must move more, to be warm!"

"Oh aye, England is like this, milord. Been rainin' a good bit at 'ome."

"It was cold and rainy already when the Romans held it," Teja says. "Men would need warm houses, and warm clothes, to survive there."

It's not long after he finishes up his chores that Doc's leaning on something nearby, watching Will as he shoots.

He just gives a small wave, not about to interrupt him while he's shooting.

As he finishes the quiver, Will turns and smiles,

"Day, Doc, 'ow are ye doin'?"

"I'm doin' pretty good."

It's the truth. He's not great, but he's better than 'okay'. Doc smiles in return. "Yourself?"

"Well 'nough, should 'ead back to Sherwood soon to figure out what the Sheriff's plannin' but will talk to Kate first."

"How is she?"

He walks over and stands closer, near the edge of the range.

Billy's out nearby, practicing summoning things and then making them disappear, lifting and throwing them-- a practice session more defined by "fun" than "what I need to work on." When he sees Will, he waves.

Will finishes his quiver and waves back as he watches Billy, trying to understand what he's doing.

Sorry! Lost track of time.

Good luck trying to find a pattern, because there isn't one. When Billy sees Will watching, all the objects vanish with a whispered spell.

"Hey, Will."

"Day, Billy, what are ye workin' on?"

O hay, it's the red-haired bloke from Robin Hood! James remembers him, even after two and a half years, if only because he was really cool and had a sword.

He approaches, tracksuit jacket over his Arsenal shirt, and waves.

Sadly Will doesn't recognize James though he does wave at the young man,

"Good day."

"Hey," James says cheerfully. "It's Will, right? I didn't know this place even had an archery range," he adds, glancing around.

A football goes bouncing into their midst.

"Sorry!" says Molly, chasing after it.

Some hours later, Kate had finished her own practice, and she walked to Will.

"Hey, ready to eat?" Not that she really needs to ask him anyway...

"Oh aye, love."

He fires off the last arrow in his quiver and turns to her, giving a small smile.

"Good shot," she smiled back approvingly.

He moves to the target to get his arrows back,

"Aye, tis calmin'. Need to go back an find out what's goin' on."
