Will's outside at the archery range, its a good thing to do as he thinks about what maybe coming this tax time.

Also he's worrying about Guppy though at least Kate's doing better.

James stumbles back out of the way of the football and the girl ... right into the path of the dog, which knocks him to the ground.




"I'm James," he says after a moment, clambering to his feet again. "God, this place is still chaos."

"It's great, isn't it?" chirps Molly, ignoring her football (it has pink patches, naturally) in favour of petting the dog.

The 'doodle, with tag saying her name is Soda adores the attention.

"Lyssa." The owner finally caught up with her pet.

"Will Scarlett an think we might 'ave met once Molly. Ye like milkshakes, aye."

Will offers Soda his hand to sniff.

Despite his grumbling, James joins the 'pet and adore Soda' club, crouching down.

"'s all right," he says with a quick grin at Molly. "Fun kind of chaos."

Molly grins up at Will.

"That's me!" She rubs between Soda's ears. "Hey, puppy."

Looking at James, "I like chaos. It's fun."

Soda knows when to act cute and is loving the attention. Never get rid of her now.

"She's lovely, dinna think we've met 'fore, Lyssa. Ye been comin' 'ere for a while?"

James leans back a little and lets Molly have more space with Soda, while he eyes Lyssa thoughtfully.

(She's female and over the age of fifteen, therefore, worthy of attention.)

Molly will be petting the nice puppy, thanks. At some point, though, she may actually remember to go fetch her ball.

"Nope, found my dad here." She seems very happy about that and completely oblivious to James' look.

If Molly asks Soda would fetch the ball for her.

"Oh aye, who's that if ye dinna mind me askin'?"

Soda is getting lots of pets and scratches.

There is a loud, explosive expletive - maybe in German, maybe in French, maybe in Yiddish - and a tiny woman in black comes chunnering out like a high-speed clockwork toy.

Edna's latest designs have just gone blowing out the door, and genius should never be wasted, dahling.

Molly looks up at the pretty lady.

"Who's that?"

Edna, still muttering complaints to herself very fast under her breath, chases after the pieces of paper with a persistence born of sheer stubbornness.

"Oh aye, must be a grand thing bein' 'is daughter?"

He catches one of the flying pieces of paper and holds onto it, hoping the woman won't get bowled over by the dog.
