Will's outside at the archery range, its a good thing to do as he thinks about what maybe coming this tax time.

Also he's worrying about Guppy though at least Kate's doing better.

"When did you start training with Robin?"

[will_scarlett]

"Was 'bout 'leven or so."

[scurlock]

"I didn't git started 'till I was your age," he admits.

[will_scarlett]

"Robin saved me from the Sheriff's men, caught me stealin' from 'is uncle an claimed me."

[scurlock]

"And your parents didn't mind it?"

[will_scarlett]

"Nay, gave me a chance I'd ne'er 'ave 'ad. Without Rob probably would 'ave 'anged long ago."

The next few shots aren't quite as good, skirting the inside circle.

"Remind me to thank him, for that."

Doc smiles a little, grateful that he's met Will and that he's stuck around.

"When were you planning on going back?"

The next arrow goes a bit high and sticks in the edge of the target, but doesn't miss.

"Tomorrow, need to talk to Kate 'fore I go."

[scurlock]

He's careful to aim this time.

"You think I could go back with you, for a spell?"

[will_scarlett]

"Aye, be glad o'ye."

[scurlock]

"It's hard," he finally says. "Bein' here when she's not."

[will_scarlett]

The next arrow just misses the bull and is the last in Will's quiver,

"Aye, lots goin' on inside 'er an think 'er bein' 'ome will be good. She's been talkin' o'it."

[scurlock]

"Was talkin' 'bout my Kate," he adds.

He fires off the last arrow.

"But I can see that."

[will_scarlett]

"Oh aye, forgive me."

[scurlock]

"Nothin' to be forgiven for," he assures him. "Swear it. Hell they got the same name," he adds, as they walk to the targets downrange to fetch the arrows.

[will_scarlett]

"Aye an is 'ard when she's na 'ere, feels emptier, easier in Sherwood."

[scurlock]

"I can't help but wonder if she's gonna come back," he admits.

[will_scarlett]

"Ye ne'er know."

[scurlock]

"S'what hurts."

Doc begins tugging the arrows from the target.

"But find me tomorrow and we'll go. I still have my cloak but I'll have to get clothes again from bar."

[will_scarlett]

"Oh aye, do 'nother quiver?"

[scurlock]

"Sounds like a plan."

[will_scarlett]

As they shoot, this time they're quiet just two outlaws trying to figure out tomorrow.
