So there is this presence that is stalking Seras. She's not afraid, just concerned and curious as to what it is. She is also sitting at a table with Rem trying to figure out how to eat the chocolate cake and pickles she accidentally ordered.

"I don't understand, why would I order this?" she asked the Shinigami.

Rem shrugged.

She pats Seras's hair, smiling. "Well then, have the weird human food?" The shinigami is winked at, and Scarlet sits down on the table.

"I can't eat the weird human food," said Seras, "It does not sit well."

"Hmm... drink blood flavored like the weird human food? Or try paradoxes, the strange Milliways food that tastes like whatever you want?" The Devil tilts head, watching Seras...

"I should try that!" said Seras waiving down a waitrat and ordering, "who else is hungry?"

Rem smiled and shook her head.

"I dont need food, really." The Devil smirks. "Go ahead, indulge yourself..." She is never about to tell people to NOT act on impulse.

"THere has been this presence following me for the last few weeks," she said, "I can't seem to place it, and it's creeping me the bloody hell out."

"Presence? How come?" Scarlet tilts head, watching the vampire with curiosity. "Something like a ghost, or like a flesh and blood person stalking you?"

"I haven't been able to figure that out," she said, "It has no scent but I can sense it telepathically."

Food arrived, or food flavored blood.

Seras looked happy and sipped at a glass.

"Any idea why it might be stalking you?" Scarlet reaches out to stroke Seras' hair again, wondering... well, this is Milliways, things could have all sorts of reasons to follow a busty vampire.

"No," she said, "One of the Doctors mentioned pregnancy, but I don't think that's possible, do you?"

"Hmm..." The Devil ponders a bit. "You think it would be mine, or that friend of yours'?" Yes, she thinks it is quite possible, even more considering where they are.

Rem looked between them.

"How could we know for sure?" asked Seras.

"I can check. One of the benefits of being an agel, I can tell those kinds of things." She scoots closer.

"Okay," she said, "This is going to be creepy isn't it?"

"Not at all." She laughs softly, reaching to touch Seras' tummy. Her hand is warm and gentle, and only causes a tingle.

Well, you guess it, and if Scarlet can tell, it is kind of her fault but not her child.

"Tickle!" squirmed Seras.

Rem smiled.

Scarlet blinks and laughs softly, glancing at rem and grinning too. Then she moves to sit beside Seras. "Hmm... Yes dear, you are with child... and no, it is not mine."

"I thought it was physically impossible," said Seras with a little worry, "I'm dead!"

"You are UN-dead, dear... you are not a cadaver, you are not a zombie. Who knows exactly how it happened, but... yes, you are pregnant."

"Any idea as to what I should do?" asked Seras, "I don't have a great diet for growing babies."

She suddenly wished her mother was around. Where was ALucard?

"Well, the child seems healthy thus far... so I guess your energies are nurturing the gestation in a way more related to magic than biology. Keep eating as well as you can, and seek a doctor if you feel weakened?"

"What could a Doctor do?" she asked.

Rem was grinning from ear to ear!

"Give ideas, maybe? You could try seeking one of the fertility and nature gods here for more direct help." The Devil is trying hard to not grin as well, and lightly pokes Rem.

Shinigami is not helping!

"What is it Scarlet?" asked Rem. Honestly this is happy news.

"Oh okay, what?"

"Nothing. Nothing." She smiles, drawing the cute silly vampire into a hug. "It will be a life-changing experience for you...'
