Enzo is sprawled across a sofa this evening, and overflowing it in places. Teal bruises are visible on his neck and knuckles, and he is generally disinclined to move much just now.

Not that he's not satisfied with the day's achievements, but... it's been a long second.

As Charles was feeling in the mood to read something different, he asked Bar for a recommendation and she gave him a book that grabbed his attention.

She gave him a fantasy book that deals with some familiar themes and has given him some ideas for approaching the world. As Bar likes to protect her patrons, its in a blank cover that doesn't show what it is. Since the weather is nice, he's reading outside by the garden with an iced tea as he reads.

(OOC: Charles is listening passively as he's concentrating more on reading. Please let me know your character's thoughts in the narration or why Charles wouldn't be able to hear them. Thank you. I am done with the school year! This is open until it scrolls. All threads are set before the one with Sallie.)

A two foot tall engineer (though, now that she isn't hovering around in the air, she stands more like 1 foot 8 inches; her posture is a bit strange) stands on Bar's countertop, having a conversation with Bar.

( Is listening into another person's cell phone conversation annoying to you? Then maybe you should avoid listening in on this. )

"Hmmm.... I know! I'll just install a fairy ring terminal in my room and give it a very long address. Or I can make it a point-to-point connection to my house. I don't think that just an open window will do. I don't want anything big flying in thinking I would make a tasty snack. I'll have to think about this a bit more."

Renee comes in from the lake door, a sarong wrapped around the lower half of her bathing suit, a towel being rubbed vigorously in her hair, and she heads straight for the Bar, where she gets a button down shirt to cover her upper body and a napkin.

"Alright, but only 'cause you're pretty."

She doesn't bother buttoning up the shirt, because she's too busy rocking the fresh-from-the-ocean Caribbean beach look.
