Susannah is once again working in the bar, although she has less of a pile of documents with her tonight. All she has is a notebook, in which she is alternately taking notes, scratching out notes, and doodling.
She is not a bad teacher, but some things are hard to approach.
She also has a large bottle of water, because proper hydration is important.

"How do you do," she says politely. She unscrews the top of her bottle of water.
"It's coming on four years since I first came here," she adds, with a shrug. "But it's a big enough place."

"I'm good." He grins wider, just to make the point. "An' I've been here tew ur three weeks. Bound, though."
And he holds out a hand to her.

He notices the chair and gives her a slightly sad smile. "We freaks gawt ter stick tewgether, ayuh? Although yers was caused by an accident ur suthin', an' I was born wit mine."

He smiles sheepishly, and when he does it's suddenly obvious that he is, in some ways, still a child. A very smart child, but also a lost child. Like Mordred was, mayhaps.
"Sorry ef yew dun't like tew mention et."

Sam's frowning at his arm as he walks in -- or rather, at the cast on it.

Dean looks like he wants to smash Sam's face in. Or just get really drunk.
"Because I will. And I bet someone here'll help me."
Do not test him, Sam. Just don't.

She smiles and raises a hand briefly in greeting.

Sam waves back with his good hand, then nudges Dean.
"That's Susannah. Come on, I'll introduce you."

Dean's a jerk.
At least it's a good look for him, right?

"Evening, Sam," she says. She nods to the other (boy) man. "This must be your brother?"
no subject
He knows perfectly well that he has, especially after the recent conversation with Kaylee, but it's something to say.
"Hey, Susannah. How's it going?"
no subject
He gives Susannah a once-over because that's what Dean does. Then he grins.
"Lemme guess, you already know I'm the kickass one?"

Figuring out where to sit is awkward! She kind of knows some people, but from brief conversations in which she might've joked about their dead husbands kind of. And also, it's a bar, but it's also a restaurant, a clothing store, and possibly a daycare. Social norms are no longer dependable. "Mind if -- ?" She points, with the smoothie, toward a chair by Susannah.

When she puts it down, she notices that the table is already inhabited by notebooks. "Sorry, were you working?"
