It's been almost a week, for Anakin, since he's found a Milliways door. This is frustrating. It's not certain corners, it's not his bedroom's doorway, it's not wishing while going through any of these... It does, in fact, appear to be a totally random occurrence.

This is not satisfactory.

Frowning, he hops up on a bar stool and orders a glass of blue fizz.

YT's had an eventful day so far! Got a good grade back on her suprise math test from earlier this week, made a super-ultra delivery, responded to a Code that sort of turned into a riot...

(She's unscathed, but will probably have to testify in court in the not-too-distant future, which sucks.)

Oh, yeah, and she got an interesting new dog picture to share. On which more later.

Anyway. She is now downstairs in the garage, studying. Something about all that concrete and steel helps her focus. YT has made herself comfortable in the back of a red VW microbus with the shovels and rakes and implements of destruction two rear rows of seats taken out and replaced by deep shag carpeting and beanbag chairs, as one can see through the open side doors.

Instead of her usual RadiKS coverall, she's wearing a pair of faded jeans and a yellow short-sleeved peasant blouse so ignore what she's wearing in the usericon.

Back to that thing about the interesting dog picture...

The Pit Bull YT encountered today is a bittersweet reminder of Fido - but YT isn't going to shy away from posting a picture of a pit bull just because of, you know, FEELS.

1) Outdoors by the lake in shorts and a tank top, practicing how to fall and land without hurting herself.

2) Back at the main desk in the library. Even the non-literary will be able to find her there, as she's opted to advertise with a sign on the notice board.

Alistair has a few errands to run before he settles in for the day.

First, to the bar: a good-sized box filled with fragrant meat pies, addressed to Ysalwen. The note attached reads, Ysa -- forgot to ask what kind you liked, so I got one of each. Your royal cross-Thedas pie smuggler, Alistair.

Second, to T-Minus:

Attached are a collection of photos from the canine obstacle course, including one or two of the rogue geese. (Alistair's captioned those, Very angry and prone to biting. Quite poorly trained, if you ask me. For shame.) He stays signed on after he's posted, just in case.

And then, at last: a table off to one side of the bar, where Alistair unrolls a map of Ferelden. It takes up half the tabletop; two spots -- South Reach and Amaranthine -- have circles drawn around them. Settling into a chair, he orders a beer from the closest waitrat, leans over the map, and then just...shuts his eyes and rubs his temples for a moment.

Perhaps he should take an actual break, rather than a break that includes all of this. But, well. He's already here and he's already got the map in hand. Might as well.
