*(offer not valid for turkeys)

Did you see that?
Just a little bit of movement in the corner of your eye.
Wait...there it is again!
What is that?
Is...is that a hand print made to look like...a turkey?

You bet your sweet bippy it is!
Because Thanksgiving is Mike's favorite holiday.
Or at very least it's tied for first on his list of favorite holidays.

If one were so inclined, one could investigate the hand turkeys further.
Upon investigation one might just realize that they create a path that leads out of the Bar proper and in the direction of the Caribbean Outlet.

There, in the warm sand, several tables have been set up.
They're decorated for the season, with literal cornucopias and paper turkeys.

(Lake Rule apply. Tag in, tag often.

America seems to be having its odd pre-Christmas Christmas dinner day. Jim, not being either American or the type to be thankful for much, is not exactly brimming with holiday cheer. On the other hand, Bar gave him a Christmas turkey lunch without prompting, and who doesn't like a good roast?

The upshot is: there's one distracted genius in a booth, half-eating lunch and half drawing shimmering lines in the air, designing something on one of the devices Karkat made for him. He's vaguely humming, 'All I Want for Christmas' under his breath and one heel is banging a tense, jittery staccato on the floor...but he appears in good spirits, and will definitely let you have his pumpkin pie if you want it. What is it with Americans and pumpkins? He has no idea.

Fair warning: if you try and take the pecan pie, he'll probably chop your hand off.

[OOC: Open until Sunday night! Slowtime is A-OK for any celebrating peeps who still want to play. Happy Thanksgiving, Americans! <3]

Thor isn't even from Earth, never mind the USA; he's spent all of about three days there, and while they were personally meaningful days, they definitely weren't enough to teach him about any local holidays.

But the mun is from the USA, and does celebrate Thanksgiving. And she thinks that a day dedicated to overindulgent feasting, family, sharing, and a certain amount of imperial revisionist history is an excellently fitting day to play Thor, son of Odin.

And so, Thor is in the bar, with his Security star and his magic hammer and his general air of shiny armored princeliness, and also a large mug of very sweet and extremely alcoholic coffee.
