'Duty' here meaning 'bartending' because Lady Bar deserves some shut-eye'.

So there is a sliiiiightly out-of-place pilot behind the bar, putting up specials.

Just look at the grin on the pilot's face.

"Jack Daniels, Irish Mist, and Bailey's, one part o' each."

"Doesna sound too 'arsh a bite. I'll 'ave one o'those."

And two shot glasses are set down on the bar, one for Will, one for Maguire.

"Cheers."

Will eyes the drink and downs it in one gulp,

"Na too bad."

Xaldin glances at the specials, then at the man behind the board, "You do realize that not everyone here has biology, do you not?"

Candidly: "Hell of a lot of fun for me, then. You takin' up the offer?"

"As long as you understand that I can't get drunk on the specials." Xaldin says with a shrug, "Sure. Xaldin, III of XIII, the Whirlwind Lancer."

"What's your poison, then?"

Maguire puts one hand up to his forehead in a mock salute.

"'Mad Dog' Maguire, formerly of the French Foreign Legion."

"If it's not Atlantean it won't touch Nobodies." Xaldin says, "And if it is, it might kill humans. I'm not sure. The hangover is halfway to Oblivion."

Hahahahaha.

Possibly, Xaldin will be able to tell from Maguire's expression that the pilot has indeed tried Atlantean, and regretted it like nothing else the next morning.

That's a challenge that Agnes cannot pass up.

So while the chubby young woman in the pointed black hat that sidles up to the bar may not look that intimidating, she has a definite look of determination in her eyes.

"So long as we're drinkin' the same thing and it i'n't Atlantean, I'm up for it."

Agnes smirks. She's tempted to say scumble, but that wouldn't be fair.

"Then you pick, so I don't have an advantage."

"B-52, then. Sound good?"

"I've never heard of that, but sure."

"Amaretto, Bailey's, and rum, 'ccordin' to the book."

He sets about pouring two shots, taking a little preemptive action and setting out a few other glasses, too.

"...and how does that work, exactly? Like, you have to say 'uncle' when you've had enough, or I have to wait until you barf on me?"

Maguire goes about getting two glasses, and a bottle of the appropriate liquor.
