Spring into All Skate

Early this morning, a ritual occurred which many patrons likely missed. The wait-rats gathered outside to watch the sun rise. Forming a ring around an older rat wearing a black maître d' jacket, their whiskers twitching in anticipation, they waited. The maître d' rose his nose into the air, his own mustache-like whiskers twitching as he scented the air. Seconds pass into minutes and then the maître d' gravely nods his head. It is time.

Later, patrons who go outside will see a field of white table clothes and other linens hanging on a forest of clotheslines. The greenhouse windows are all open and the sounds of sweeping are everywhere. Inside, many patrons who try to enter their rooms will find their rooms locked and a little note card hanging form the door which reads, "Spring Cleaning".

Doors and windows everywhere in the bar at the end of the universe are open to let the fresh breeze in, chasing away the stale Winter air. Perhaps even the Front Door is open to more than is usual.

Welcome to another All Skate, Spring Cleaning edition
All welcome - yes, that means all. Whether they're retired, deleted, AU, original or already being played by someone else, bring 'em along.

Usual all-skate rules apply:
1. Everyone's stressed out of their mind right now, so have fun!
2. Communication is key.
3. Gratuitous behavior (either of a violent or sexual nature) will not be tolerated in the bar proper. Take that to an OOM, and then Content Warning the hell out of it before you link it.
4. Much like Vegas, what happens in All Skates, stays in All Skates (in most cases)
5. Please don't be a dick.

First EP -- Tang Fan

All of a sudden, a rather pretty and very young man in dip-dyed robes walks into the bar. Behind him, the door closes on a lively city street from 15th century China.

"This restaurant is new!" he declares, delighted. All the strangeness (trilobites, galaxy window, bra over the bar etc.) gets ignored as funny decor in view of that momentous fact: there will be new food here!

"Hello!" he calls out. "May I have your special, please?"

Always go for what the cook does best.

Vision crosses the threshold, then pauses. He was about to put on his human guise but at the sight of this place, he decides it can wait.

He looks around with an expression of gentle curiosity.
