Late Night Sunday Bartending

Something is strange. There's a walking, talking, mouse behind the bar. He's wearing a black cloak as well. He wipes off the bar top while standing on a few boxes.

The board behind him says:

Mickey smiles,

"I've been assisting with the rebuilding of Radiant Gardens, trying to handle the affairs of Disney Castle, and even moreso trying to get people back to their homeworlds."

"Just lost a war." Mickey wins, it's true, but sometimes it's nice just to kvetch.

"Maybe we're more alike than we'd like to think?"

Mickey sighs for a moment and narrows his eyes.

"Maybe once things settle down and the Organization get their hearts... I've always been a good listener and you are more than welcome to come and vent."

"Thanks. This place is good for that." Mickey would probably be more like Cap... which is an interesting mental image.

"Even when I first came here, I was all about the rule that said 'No outside business...' It wasn't until I happened on Demyx that things started to fall apart here. Not saying that it's entirely his fault but things have been difficult even here."

He motions towards Kate.

"I can respect her but I do not regret the decision I had to make. There's no sense in regretting something if we can work for a better future. I wholeheartedly believe that the Organization and I can now do that."

"It's good that it's all worked out, anyway." He looks curiously down at Kate. "I know what you mean about things falling apart. With Roxas here, it doesn't feel safe anymore."

"Please believe me when I tell you that Roxas will be fine. It was an interesting situation with him and he made a decision. It was a decision that this one has not made yet. He does not have an easy road ahead of him."

Billy sighs and rubs his forehead. "If you say so. But I don't think events are set in stone."

"They aren't however my reality is just that, my reality. If he does make the decision, he will, if not... I don't think that will change my timeline."

"Hmmm we shall see then..."

"You sound remarkably calm about possibly being wiped from existence."

"My whole stance on the matter is that what has passed has passed. When people such as yourself first find out about what happened, I get leapt upon. I no longer attempt to defend my actions but I make it known that I have no regrets. As long as we both hold up our sides of the Treaty then I will work with them peacefully."

He offers his hand.
