Ganymede is...not usually a surprising person. Really. "Yes...my lord. I do; I mull their drink, and bring it to them. For mortals, it is a high position."

He's trying to figure out the interest, but is glad someone can actually understand it. "I am Zeus' consort, sometimes; that is why he brought me to Olympus."

Both Men in Black have a pretty good idea of how that kind of thing probably works.

"Can't say as I've met him around here," K says. "I'm guessing I'd remember. He's probably the kind of guy who stands out in a crowd."

"He does."

Not as much as Pan, but Ganymede suspects that the faun's physiology might have something to do with that. "I do not think he knows of this place; it is still a surprise to me, to find it. Do you both come in often, my lords?"

"All the fucking time," Zed manages not to roar, though only barely.

K grins. "The Landlord does like to have us around, I guess."

[the_cupbearer]

"You are good company, thus far," Ganymede states. "I did not know this place had a Landlord; does he know you well?"

Sometimes, he sounds a whole lot older than he reasonably should. Now is not one of those times. He actually does sound like the almost-twenty he was. He glances at Zed, and K, and back to Zed. "I take it by your tone then, my lord, you do not enjoy having this place surprise you."

K is laughing at that. Zed grimaces, then nods.

"Only because the place is a colossal pain in the ass."

"As for the Landlord, no one's ever met him. But you'll know if I ever do, because there'll be a dead fucking Landlord in the middle of the bar."
