So, apparently, the well-thought-out evil genius plan these days is blowing things up. Chuck doesn't know why, because he's nowhere near the evil genius status.

(Of course.)

Regardless, the whole thing blows over when he defuses Laszlo's bomb on an extremely tenuous 'if you're lying about this, then you must be lying about that' line of reasoning that would do Vizzini proud.

So the question on all minds is, obviously: Chuck Bartowski, now that you've rescued the inhabitants of that building that was going to be blown up, what are you going to do next?

It is! She approves.

"Carla," she answers, after taking a sip. "What's yours?"

"Chuck. How long've you been coming here?"

Friendly bartender is friendly.

"I... don't think it's been very long?"

She's definitely not very sure. "At least, it's only been a few days for me."

"Welcome to Milliways."

"So you've been here for a while?"

He's behind the bar and all.

"Uh, a month or so. Not... really that long."

"And you're already..."

Oh, wait. Now she's remembering that it's not necessarily a permanent gig to be a bartender here.

But on that note -

"Are you from Earth?"

"Yeah."

"Well, that's new," she remarks, before taking another sip of the tea.

"What do you think?"

"It's... interesting."

She doesn't say that in a bad way! Really! "I'm not usually a tea person."

Carla might have gone for the Klingon coffee if she'd known what it was.

Uh-huh.

"What do you usually drink?"

"Well..."

She examines the specials again. "It's a little early in my day for a martini. Probably coffee."

"The Raktajino's really good."

"And that's..."

She hasn't watched enough Star Trek for this.

"Klingon coffee."

... well, she's watched enough to recognize that.

"Does it have a lot of kick to it?"

"...Yeah."
