It's happy hour time again and your bartender for the evening is Angelina. She's not exactly a pro at this but she figures how hard can it be to pour a few drink? Plus, she has magic on her side right? Which leads to her choice of specials for the evening...

She leans against the back bar, idly making shot glasses dance across the surface and sipping a firewhiskey until she gets some customers. So have at it folks. She's got all the time in the world...

"Coming right up," she grins, and floats two bottles off of the shelves behind her with a wave of her wand. A little flick, and they pour themselves in equal measures into a glass. The black plastic stirrer mixes them together of it's own accord and she floats the glass over to him.

"I'm don't think I've seen you around here before. I'm Angie," she says, holding a hand out to him.

He watches the drink preparation with a raised eyebrow. "You know, you could make quite a living serving drinks to germophobes that way."

He takes the glass, and has a sip, before shaking her hand. "Name's Weyland, a pleasure to meet you. I've been in and out lately, more out than in I suppose."

She laughs at his comment about the germophobes. "Well, you know, if it'll bring in customers...

It's a pleasure to meet you too. I've not been around here much myself, to be honest."

She's kind of been avoiding the place, but he doesn't need to hear that.

[mechanicalswans]

"Work keeps you busy?" he asks. "That's my excuse, anyway. Even when I'm here, I'm not always in here, but out in the forge. More peaceful."

Well, technically, loud but non-dramatic.

"Sometimes you need a break from the peace, though."

"The way my life is, I'm lucky to get any peace at all, so you'll have to forgive me if I don't agree with that sentiment," she says with a wry smile.

[mechanicalswans]

"I have an unfortunate tendency to fall into a rut if things are too peaceful for too long," he says, "and when I do, it can be very hard to get back out. So I like to be shaken up now and then, keeps things... alive, you know?"

She nods and takes a sip of her own drink.

"Yeah, I guess I do.

So where and when are you from, Weyland?"

[mechanicalswans]

"Most recently Minnesota," he says, "2009. But I travel when I can."

He sips his drink. "How about you?"
