Happy Hour

It's happy hour time again and your bartender for the evening is Angelina. She's not exactly a pro at this but she figures how hard can it be to pour a few drink? Plus, she has magic on her side right? Which leads to her choice of specials for the evening...

She leans against the back bar, idly making shot glasses dance across the surface and sipping a firewhiskey until she gets some customers. So have at it folks. She's got all the time in the world...

"No sweetheart," she says shaking her head. "I'm just not sure I'll ever get used to the weird things Milliways does with time..."

She picks up her drink, walks around to the other side of the bar and takes a seat next to Lily.

"You have me at a bit of a disadvantage, kiddo. You know me, but I don't really know you..."

"Well, I'm nine years old and I have two older brothers James and Albus," she begins. "You're - or will be - married to my uncle George."

... It almost feels like she's been punched in the stomach when Lily says that and all the colour fades from her face. No. No, George died. She was there, she saw it happen.


[ooc: This Angelina is AU because when I started playing her here the last two books hadn't been released - in her world both of the twins died.]

She takes a deep breath and thinks. This isn't the first time something like this has happened at Milliways. Alternate universes are par for the course. But to find out that somewhere a version of her married George... when Lily first called her 'Aunt' she'd thought it was just an honourific.

"Lily..." she says very softly, not wanting to upset her and not quite sure how to say anything without doing just that...
