Lilo runs into Milliways, followed as usual by indistinct yelling. She races to the bar, where she whispers something, then runs into the bathroom with a wrapped package underarm.

A few minutes later, she emerges from the bathroom, wearing a long (fake) fur coat, a bowler hat, and a pair of plastic spectacles with a rubber nose and a mustache.

"Hhhhhallo," she announces to the bar at large in an indistinct accent somewhere between British and Spanglish. "Oi am Emu Snickers, Model Citizen, thoroughlay unnoteworthy patron of theese foine establishment! Barkeep, a chocolate milk! On the rocks."

And if that were not an odd enough sight in and of itself; there is a mad pattering of feet, a blur of motion and the strange young patron is being hugged under the armpits as a familiar voice yammers away at a mile a minute.

"Shhh, Stitch, you'll blow my cover."

Lilo being oblivious to Stitch's Binding, since for all she knows he is safely at home, hiding in ANOTHER closet, she proclaims loudly, "Oh ho ho, a lost little dog! Perhaps I can help you find your little girl I mean owner, huh boy?"

Blink.

"Gaba ika tasoopa?"

Where has she been?

"Nani found the jelly on her nice dress. Now she's mad. So I'm hiding."

She pauses, tilting her head to look at Stitch better. "What's wrong, boy?"

"Eh, ah, eh" There is some ineffectual gesticulating. Stitch is well aware that time stops back home. But he hasn't been home in- The alien cuts a quick glance at where the door should be. And is.

"Naga." Replies Stitch, ears and shoulders relaxing in unison. Absolutely nothing. Now.

The red-haired, pigtailed Indian girl is giving Emu Snickers a decidedly dubious look.

"Hhhhhallo little girl!" says Emu Snickers, all jovial cheer and dubious accents! "Whot's your name?"

"Sari," says the pigtailed girl. "What are you supposed to be?"

"Supposed to be? Oh ho ho! The imagination of children these days!"

'Emu' laughs loudly, then leans in and pops up the rubber nose eyeglasses for a minute. "I'm in hiding."

"From who?" Sari whispers back.

She whispers, "my sister." She chortles, "Why, no one! Are you LOOKING for someone? A little girl, perhaps? Oi thought she went thataway!"

Sari nods knowingly. "Now that I think about it, I think she did!" she says, very loudly and deliberately. "Thank you, kind sir!"

Then, quietly again: "What does she look like?"
