L sits in the bar at the end of the universe. He sits alone at the counter, slowly swirling sugar cubes into a cup of coffee.

"Depends on which cultural context," said Daniel, "And yes it is classified."

[l_is_ryuzaki]

"Hmm ... yes ... I supose it would be. What would one have to do to gain access to this aforementioned classified imformation.?"

[diehard_daniel]

"Depends on weather or not you are from my world, or one like it," said Daniel.

[l_is_ryuzaki]

"Your world ... yes ... I suppose it would be difficult to transmit information across galaxies. What sort of responsibilities does one in your position have?"

[diehard_daniel]

"Has there been a large meteor impact on your planet in the last say 5 years. It would have been somewhere in the Pacific?"

[l_is_ryuzaki]

"A large metor impact somewhere in a pacific?" said L through mouthfuls of cake. "I don't know. Why do you ask?"

[diehard_daniel]

"That is just one of the things that has been used as a cover story," said Daniel.

[l_is_ryuzaki]

"Cover story?" said L, now more interested in Dr. Jackson than his cake. "Cover story for what?"

[diehard_daniel]

Daniel sat forward on the table leaning on his elbows.

"An Alien space craft," said Daniel.

[l_is_ryuzaki]

"Alien space craft? Forgive me Doctor, but that sounds a bit farfetched"

[diehard_daniel]

"Yeah," said Daniel, "But I'm not kidding. Aliens do exist."

[l_is_ryuzaki]

"Well," said L, now returning his attention to his almost gone cake, "I suppose it's not too wild of an idea, seeing as how I've witnessed a Shinigami myself. If Shinigami exist, I guess it's not a huge leap to say that aliens exist too."

[diehard_daniel]

"A God of Death?" asked Daniel, "Are you serious?"

[l_is_ryuzaki]

L looks at Dr. Jackson squarely in the eyes.

"Doctor, I never joke about my work. Shinigami roam this Earth just as aliens do."

L pushed his now empty plate of cake to the side and polished off the rest of his coffee.

[diehard_daniel]

"Interesting," said Daniel," Anyway, Aliens do exist in my world at leas, and we are currently under threat from another galaxy."

[l_is_ryuzaki]

"Another galaxy, you say?" responded L, "What sort of galaxy? I'm more used to dealing with other dementions. Shinigami are not only not of this world, said L, getting a bot more quiet, "they are not of this universe."

[diehard_daniel]

"Anyway, I am looking for a device that will help us to defeat the Ori," said Daniel, "And I think that the Ancients had such a device."

[l_is_ryuzaki]

"Ori? Ancients? Forgive me doctor, but I am unfamiler with your jargon."

[diehard_daniel]

"Oh," said Daniel, "Sorry, I got carried away."

He took a gulp of coffee.

"You see, there were these beings, that were the precursors to the human race," said Daniel, "Anyway, they learned how to evolve beyond the use of a physical body. They became beings of pure energy."

Another tug on his coffee.

"We found out that there were two factions, at least, of these ancient people," he continued, "The Ori believe that those like us in the physical bodies, should worship them. They promise ascension, but they never actually bring any of their followers to it. The Ancients, on the other hand, as Ascended beings, didn't think it wise to interfere with the lives of humans. Personally, I think that they could really help us in this fight, but nooooo, they have their rules. Anyway, we found and Ancient communication device, and a long story short, made our presence known to the Ori."

"Very interesting ... what could this mean to the future of our worlds?"

[diehard_daniel]

"I don't know about your world, but for mine it could mean death for us," he said, "We aren't going to worship false gods."

[l_is_ryuzaki]

"I know hoe you feel, said L." "In my world, a madman exists named 'Kira.' He has the power to kill anyone he wishes with the aid of a 'Shinigami.'"

L purposely left out the part about having a "Death Note." That's classified information, you know.

"With this power, he plans to eradicate all evil, or what he considers to be evil, from our world. The problem is that he wished to become "God" of this new world. Humans should not have the power to kill on a whim.

"Kira is not a savior. He is not a God. He is simply a murderer."

Daniel took a swig of coffee.

"Sounds like a tough break," said Daniel.

[l_is_ryuzaki]

"Indeed it is. When we first began the Kira Investigation, it seemed like all of Japan - all of the World - was behind us. But, rather quickly mind you, many members of the investigation squad dropped out for fear of being killed by Kira.

"It is rather hard to investigate a case without cooperation of the very people who are most affected by this brutal tyranny."

"Does this Kira have magic powers or something?" asked Daniel.
