"Seriously? Who would make a radioactive humidifier?" He believes the rest. Super-powers are strange things. "So you lost your powers?"

"The Soviets, apparently." He's still trying to figure out why.
"Yeah, but... it was basically sweating all the time. "I think I'm better off, on the whole."
Maybe if he could've worked out some control over when it happened and how much, it would've been doable.

"I know a dude who was turned into a super-soldier by the Soviets. Using radiation. Hasn't aged a day since the 60s, and had to live in seclusion for a long time. So it does sound like their thing." Good thing the Cold War is over.

"No, he just had some... questionable connections. FBI went after him when I was 12."

"Sorry to hear that. My dad has his issues, but that was never one of them." If anything, his dad helps the FBI on technical matters.

Moist shrugs. "The most annoying part was trying to get through foster care when I was molding up everybody's houses by accident."

"First family tried that. It didn't really work out." Maybe because it didn't run on plutonium?
"Anyway, I mostly creeped people out, so sometimes it was a moot point before anyone could try that."

It was a harder decision to make that he'd thought it would be, but he got there in the end.

"Not really. I mean, it's not a bad deal if you need to shut down an electronic security system, but..."
But mostly it was 'good' for getting stuck to frozen things and never being able to open jars.
