Entrance Post

It'd been a week since the defeat of Darken Rahl. Richard got that the people wanted to celebrate as they'd been under his rule for as long as he'd been alive. But he didn't quite understand why he had to stop everything he was doing in order to celebrate for a week straight. There were still battalions of the Da'Haran army out there that were giving the people trouble and he felt he should be out there with the rest of the Resistance fighting them.

He scratched the back of his head as he entered the room tonight's fest was being held in and paused about three steps in, because this really didn't look like where he was supposed to be. Especially since Kahlan and Zed had already entered the room and a quick glance around this place told him that they weren't anywhere he could see. That and the room had really changed since he'd been in here this morning.

A glance behind him finds the door he'd just entered through gone. Which only adds to the confusion as he shifts to an empty table with a confused look. The Seeker of Truth is very much lost at the moment. Poor fellow.

WELL. Usagi was pretty excited about eventually finding a way to go through someone's door. She's only been to her worlds future, never anything more exciting than that. As if ... That wasn't exciting at all. "It'll be ok, I hear eventually it comes back! And I think time slows in your world or ... stops or something? So if it's anything important it shouldn't go on without you." Usagi is noticeably unsure of herself there, she's tempted to go and ask bar, just to be sure.

"Nice to meet you too!" She smiles all sparkles again, "So, where are you from?"

His name sounds American, so she's guessing there, but Milliways was pretty unpredictable, so it didn't hurt to ask.

Nowhere near close. Not even in the galaxy of close. She blinks. "I have no idea where that is!" But it doesn't seem to bother her at all!

"Tokyo, Japan!" She wonders if it's possible for him to know where and what that is, considering 'Midlands' sounded ancient-y and stuff.

ooc; so, SO sorry for the late reply my inbox got flooded and I lost this thread for a while, on top of irl stuff.

"What ... time are you from?" It seems like a valid question right about now.

...

"All right, then."

Uhm, no one on this end of narration knows what year it is for this kid either, so uh, lets pretend she gives a reasonable answer back. The world is modern, there are video games and awesome cell phones.

That's about all anyone knows.

This side of the narration thinks that's a pretty awesome idea, right there!

She smiles back, "No, it's all right! I just think it's really interesting how everyone can come from different times and stuff! The most I can do in my world is go to alternate dimensions and that's not always possible."

She doesn't mean to seem bothered or anything it's just ... Interesting. A little weird, but cool too! Or maybe she was just getting used to Milliways.

"Yep, a friend of mine, she watches time and all that sort of stuff!"

... W-wait didn't that just mean she watched the future and all its possible outcomes? Did that ... count? Ok, probably not. Oops! Well, hey, she's been under a lot of stress lately.

"What's your world like?" She's more than willing to talk about hers, though she's probably going to leave out the whole superhero thing, it was just strange to talk about, after having to keep it a secret for more than a year.
