As lovely as Okinawa is, there's a few things Dinah misses about her life in America. The biggest candidate is her family; her mother and her uncles, who write, but not often enough. It leaves a space for her to want to fill.

The other thing, she never thought she'd miss in February, but she finds she is, as That Holiday nears. As this is why there is now a sign on the notice board:#

Valentine's Bouquets

Romance, friendship, family, say it with flowers this year. Bouquets, arrangements and stems delivered to your loved ones this Valentines Day.

She takes a seat near the board, but she also leaves a collection of order forms and an envelope to gather them in.

Around Bella's age, but already married and divorced and dropped out of college.

Still, it'll take more than that to dampen Dinah's optimism.

She leans back to let him fill in the orders while thinking about her own work, and the long list of father figures (and Justin) she'll be sending flowers to.

After a two or three minutes Edward stood back straight, scanning over the lines he'd written. Checking the details once, and then again.

Then he held the paper and pen back to her.

"If this is possible."

Dinah scans it quickly, and nods.

"Absolutely possible. I'll need to use Bar to get some of these, but I'll invoice through Bar?"

It's so easy to be financial when all money is in the from of magically-kept tabs.

He nodded, simply. "That should be fine."

She grins again and tucks the order in among her others.

"I'm getting a real kick out of doing this. At home I used to hate this tiem of year."

"It's different here."

There's a lift that makes it far more question than statement.

"Smaller customer base," she offers, as confirmation and explanation. "More meaningful orders," his is an example, there.

"Plus, I'm not doing it because I have to, which is a big one."

There's an incline of his head. It's all sensible and the comparison is different to the shifting examples to the contrary in worlds other than this.

"I wish you well with the rest of them."

A small glance to the rest of the room for that.

"Thank you," Dinah replies. She's genuinely looking forward to working on them - apparently she'd forgotten how much she loves this work. Almost as much as martial arts.
