Arnold is a kid of simple tastes.

That's why, when he enters the bar--and it's been a while, so it's kind of exciting--he doesn't go have a look at the Window or the fish in the fireplace or even the inexplicably Scottish back yard.

No, he goes directly to the bar itself and orders up a bowl of Sugar Chunks cereal. Seems routine wins out even in the bar at the end of the universe.

Tasseloff ran up to Arnold.

"Hi!!!, how are you?" he asked.

Arnold blinks in surprise, then smiles at him.

"Hey, man. I'm having a good day." Not least of all because of the cereal.

"That's good," said Tass, "Have you been playing Base ball?"

"Sure, every day after school now that football season's over. Have you gotten to play it here?"

Tass shook his head.

"Well, that's a shame. You should ask Bar for a ball and glove sometime."

"I don't know all the rules," said Tass, "And isn't it more fun to play with friends? Oh, and I've not been in the bar much, either."

"Yeah, but you can practice by yourself..." Arnold shrugs.

"Really? It's been a while since I've been here, too."

The end of the universe is the best place for snacks! Case in point, Enzo, with a bowl of spicy microchips.

"Hey, Arnold! I haven't seen you since Christmas!"

Arnold perks up as soon as he sees Enzo, and waves. "Hey, Enzo! It's been a while."

"How's it goin', dude?"

"Not bad, it's hanging cool. You know."

"Whatcha eatin'?"

"Sugar Chunks."

It's about what it sounds like.

"You gotta love food that's totally honest like that."

"Yeah, no hidden surprises or nutrition here."

"Any ingredients besides sugar?"

And are any of them pronounceable?

"I dunno, I've never really looked at the ingredient list."

"Bar? You wanna clue us in?"

A single-serving box appears.

Apparently, there are a lot of preservatives in Sugar Chunks.

"That's a lot of big words."

"Are you sure these are all matter?"

"Most of them are probably just to make it last a long time."

Arnold knows that much about consumer science!

"Like... the longer the word, the longer the food lasts?"

Arnold laughs. "That'd be an interesting correlation."

Yeah, he reads too much.

"Oh, hey, guess what? Some friends and I started a band!"
