A young woman in a labcoat walks in, her nose buried in a medical textbook as she bites her thumb thoughtfully.

When the change in noise from where she's come from registers, however, she looks up. Eyes go wide.

"...Oh my God. Who the hell put a bar in the students' lounge?"

(Steph herself does not look at it, but she never does, so it's quite subtle.)

"It's not a TV or anything, it's really happening."

"We're in space." She moves closer to look, tilting her head to follow the patterns in it.

"That is so cool."

Steph beams at her. "This place - I don't know how it works, but it, like, hangs on the very edge of the collapse of the universe, and somehow never quite falls in. It's so cool."

"...I think every science teacher I've ever had has just committed suicide."

Exams be damned, this is way more interesting.

"That-That's gotta be a nebula or something, right?"

"Was, probably." Steph perches on the back of a nearby chair, back to the window, grinning in delight at the expression on Martha's face. "Won't be for long."

Curious, dragging her eyes away from the window, "You're not looking?"

"I like watching people react," Steph says, grinning. "It's always the biggest thing they notice about being here."
