A young woman in a labcoat walks in, her nose buried in a medical textbook as she bites her thumb thoughtfully.
When the change in noise from where she's come from registers, however, she looks up. Eyes go wide.
"...Oh my God. Who the hell put a bar in the students' lounge?"
Welcome to Milliways, Miss Martha Jones.
[OOC: Martha is currently just pre-canon! She's completely free to tag by everyone and anyone, but all I ask is that nobody mention the Doctor to her, please.]

The last time Albus introduced a new person, he wasn't even himself (Sodding Milliways), really.
"It's not the student lounge," says the young boy by the door with a butterbeer in his hand. "You're ... rather far from any sort of student lounge, really."

"...Sorry. Okay, so ... bar. Not the hospital. Right."
LOGIC. PLEASE, WHERE IS THE LOGIC?
no subject
Slowly so as not to scare the starting-to-look-scared lady.
"Yeah, um. Actually. It's -"
He pauses.
"You really ought to suspend every single bit of logic you've got? Because um. This is a bar at ... the end of the universe."
His face? Totally not joking either.

... it might be worth pointing out that the girl in question is only sixteen and decidedly lab-coat free. Also, trying not to giggle, quite evidently.

On the other hand, apparently she also has a bar. As a medical student and therefore knower of all the best parties (work hard, party harder, arbitrate family squabbles like they're going out of fashion), Martha is deeply divided over this.
She settles the intense moral debate by carefully marking her place and then tucking her textbook under her arm.
"...So. Why am I in a bar?"
She is pretty sure none of the professionals would ever be kind - or stupid - enough to give the students a bar in the hospital.

Especially if they were fit.

Which...she is. She might not wear dog-tags, but it's obvious what she is.
Even with a cast on her left lower leg.
[ooc: obviously, millitimed to AFTER Trudy is rescued from the jungle <.< ]

"...Does this happen a lot, then?"

Also, crutches leaning against the table.
"Uh, depends? I mean, I only had this place show up a couple months ago, and it's random when it does. It's a weird...wormhole type deal, I think." Accent obviously American, too.

Cal likes to greet newcomers anyway, and hasn't had a chance for awhile. When a newcomer is a gorgeous woman, it's a welcome bonus.
"Hi," he says with a friendly smile. "This your first time here?"
no subject
That would... depend on where 'here' is, after all.
On the other hand, he's hot. If aliens have mysteriously dropped her somewhere, at least they have the decency to be fit.

"If you're not sure," he says, "then it is."
He gestures to his table. "Please, have a seat, I can tell you exactly where you are."
For a given value of "exactly," anyway, this being Milliways, but never mind that.

Raven drops down beside her, head pre-tilted to an incredibly awkward angle.
It is a thing.
"Though person, I am thinking, is also a tricky thing."
no subject
"...Um. What?"
Raven is confusing, and Martha is confused!
no subject
Or a brain.
Or anything else recognizably human-shaped.
"Independent thought is also difficult."

Blink.

"...What?"

Except that panicked tone in his voice is probably too much of a give to how utterly freaked he's getting. At least before he registers that she didn't call him Moon Shadow.
So. PROBABLY SAFE. Yeh.
