Second verse, same as the first.
Susannah is back, trying once again to get some work done away from her troublesome menfolk. Not that she doesn't have a perfectly good office to hide in if she really felt like playing the recluse. But they don't keep liquor in the house, and where would she be without her Dragonfly?
The mountain of paper situation has only gotten worse; more resumes, print-outs of her memos that she's now marking up in red pen, and a file from the Vannay Institute about Stephen King's latest publications. Among other things.
She's open to distraction; just don't bring up Ron Howard.

"But what it is, is an organization that tries to mobilize the friends and families of gays and lesbians to demand equal rights. We have a bit of a problem with that." There's a bit of an acid touch there.

"When I was young it was our skin," she says. "The world moves on. Same fight though."
It's always the same fight. It makes her tired. But there are always more young people to fight it, and playing general for them makes her feel a lot less tired. A lot less old.

"They're headquartered there, and I'll spend a few weeks there with the staff, and then we'll be in the nation's capitol the rest of the summer. That's where we'll connect with the volunteers."
