Wingardium Leviosa is a first year spell, one Lily's had down for years now, simple levitation.
Still, it's good to practice the basics sometimes.
Which is why there's a small brown teapot (empty, of course) hovering about five feet above a table tonight.
And below it, a redheaded witch with her wand out, watching it slowly spin in the air.

It's one thing to have a magical bar give you thing from no where.
It's entirely another for a girl to be hovering a teapot in midair.
The boy with the bread -- and he is literally carrying loaves in a basket, he didn't expect to be here, again -- is standing there, staring at it. Them.

Lily looks over when she feels his eyes on her -- the teapot drifts a a few inches to the right as she does -- and smiles at him.
"It won't hurt anything."
no subject
If the effect is unassuming confusion in his expression, unchanged, the reason behind it isn't. "How are you doing that?"
no subject
She moves the wand in her left hand and the teapot floats easily back down to rest on the tabletop.
"Lily Evans."
no subject
Who is watching the dowel she's directing with.
"Not from any of the 'Earth's' most here seems to be."

We're sorry, normally the grey-haired Korean-looking girl in the blue and gold jumpsuit has better manners than that, but she doesn't see that kind of thing happen to teapots every day. She'll remember herself in a bit, we promise.
no subject
Lily smiles when she catches the other girl's eye.
"Hello."
no subject
She's met people with all kinds of powers here, so it's a legitimate question. It's not like her first few weeks at the Bar when she was asking anyone who looked even a little odd if they were a mutant.
no subject
Her attention now divided, the teapot wobbles a bit in midair, then rights itself.
"It's magic; I'm a witch.
"I don't know what a psyker is.
"I'm Lily Evans."

"It's Ginny, right?"
no subject
She knew this. Likely the way people talk the only ginger not a Weasley to go though Hogwarts
no subject
Her attention is still largely on keeping the teapot aloft.
no subject
"Nice to see you again."

But this he has missed. He tilts his head at the brown teapot, and then looks at the girl with the wand.
"Witch, are ye?"
no subject
"What gave me away?"
no subject
He watches the teapot curiously. Such funny things humans practice with.
no subject
"I guess it is a bit showy, isn't it?" she asks, cheerfully.
"I'm Lily Evans."
no subject
"Human, though, aye?"

Late Tag, late tag..
...Well.
Pardon the man who's over here spinning his top out of habit even though he knows that it's a bar and that weird things happen.
Watching the teapot-transfixed-he doesn't notice when his top falls to the floor with a clatter and a clank.
no subject
"I think you dropped something."
no subject
"...Thanks." Cobb makes a desperate grab for the top before staring-pointedly-at the teapot, "...How are you doing that? I thought for a second I was dreaming it-"
No need to mince words right?
no subject
The teapot moves with it, left and right and left again.
"Lily Evans. Fifth year student, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry."
no subject
"I'd offer a hand, but I uh-" He stares at the wand, "Don't want to break your concentration."
